"This was our first “out to dinner” experience since the pandemic started. I am so happy we chose Pates as our first stop! The food was amazing, the staff friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. I have already told two friends about our experience and they plan on spending a night out at Pates as well! Can’t wait to go back soon"

"Two night weekend stay, February 2022. Room type was Main Inn Ocean View Suite. Overall, this is a beautiful historic resort almost 110 years old so vintage charm is to be expected. The Main Inn Ocean View Suites on the top floor have private balconies overlooking the ocean, just know that the Main Inn is set back from the water on a hill, and is too far away too hear the waves.We enjoyed dinner at the Sacred Cod restaurant and both breakfast and dinner delivered via room service. All of the food was very good and service was outstanding. Everyone who works there was exceedingly professional, friendly, and helpful.The suite’s furniture was lovely, and both the bed itself and the bedding were some of the most comfortable we’ve experienced. Luxury touches like bathrobes, slippers, and a Nespresso machine added to the experience.Considering our winter stay, I cannot comment on the beach, pool, any of the seasonally closed restaurants, or other outdoor amenities. We did make use of the hotel’s complimentary valet parking and found the location convenient for a day trip to Provincetown."

"The new name of this place is Garden City. We had one large pepperoni pizza, one salad, two adult and one child servings of spaghetti with meat sauce, two beers and 3 soft drinks...total was $73 before the tip? We were overcharged by 2 salads $12). The pizza was good but the crust was soggy instead of crisp...would go back but in no hurry...and will watch the cashier more closely. I’m sure the overcharge was unintentional."

"Let me first say that I had treated Fulgenzi's food on weddings for several occasions and it was always excellent. When my wife and I wanted to eat Italian at Valetines Day, we decided to visit Fulgenzis Trattoria in Chatham. Of course, every good restaurant on Valentine's Day will be very busy that has fallen on Thursday this year. I requested a reservation on Tuesday, one of the two days of the week that they are closed and leave a message. The owner John called me back to Wednesay and said if we could come at 7:00, he could get us in. When we arrived, the restaurant was in full swing, but we were welcomed and sat right away. The service was very good and the food came out very quickly. I made a point to order something that I had not yet had at one of his respected receptions and was not disappointed. The order of my wife was also good to arrange me to order a side article that is normally not provided as a side part. The waitress was very accommodating. When things started for the evening, the owner John Fulgenzi, who obviously had worked hard all night in the kitchen, based on his pasta stained cooks shirt, made his rounds with his mosquitoes to see how things were. Later we moved to his bar area to chat with another couple we knew it was only for drinks. It is Italian and gives the place its Italian blessings for its good food, which, by the way, is appropriate for the quality, atmosphere and level of service. I recommend visiting Fulgenzi's Trattoria in Chatham, IL."

"I called before arriving to make a reservation and was told I did not need to make one, and in fact they were not taking reservations. When we arrived we were given a 30 minute wait despite the open tables. When I asked my friend if we wanted to wait, the host decided to comment on my private conversation in a rude tone. However our server Gavin was amazing. Best person ever. His service was excellent. I feel bad he has to deal with this management. I believe it shows his character that he hasn?t quit yet. Food is overpriced but good."

"Always, always, creative fresh menu items incredibly talented cook and employees. Professional waiting staff and host dinner, Saturday night there were some electrical problems with their POS and they didn't miss a beat! Our favorite place cozy and clean, bar is busy and lively, a great mix of casual elegance."
