"Nice view. We came here on Christmas and were served by Miguel. Great service from Miguel and was very attentive and helpful. I ordered a mango not drink alcohol and it was very delicious. Had a starter with fried octopus. It had lemons and dried seaweed. I then ordered the beef medallion (mean rare), I also got the fried rice and seafood. Both were very delicious. My wife ordered the shrimps Burritos. We then ordered a dessert, also delicious. Overall was amazing food, amazing experience, great service and amazing views."

"Great open air seating with nice views of the harbor. Menu is quite varied from pizza to beef medallions. The drinks were very good as were the appetizers. Our wait persons, Martine and Alex were great help and very attentive."

"Lovely evening spent at the Black Forest. Staff is friendly and efficient, food is delicious and there is entertainment some nights. If schnitzel is your thing it is 2 for 1 on Sunday nights. Get a reservation though. It is popular."

"I try to get to Masala at least a couple times each year when I'm here and, year after year, time after time, the food has always been consistently top notch. Julio is a great chef and his staff is friendly and courteous. The wine list is good, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed and they frequently have some nice live dinner music. I had the filet mignon last time I was there and it was very good. They have a varied menu that features some very nice seafood dishes and salads as well. I also hosted nine of my friends here at my birthday party in February and they did an excellent job of handling the larger gathering. Highly recommended. Put this restaurant on your "must do" list for La Cruz."

"We went here for my wife's birthday. We made reservations which was a good idea as the place is not very big, but seems to be really popular. We had the pizza it was fantastic. Wood oven cooked with nice thin crust. It is the...closest we have had that tastes like European wood oven pizza. They were very good at making your pizza the way you like it. The service was excellent and the waitress was very friendly, even though the place was packed. Very enjoyable meal, red wine was reasonably priced was good, and you can take your own bottle for an 80 peso corkage fee. (I took a fine white for my wife since it was her birthday). We will definitely be back."
