"We live in Ensenada and frequently go to the Valle de Guadalupe, but Cava 8 just saved us some gas. The ambiance is the same other than the countryside, but the food is excellent and the wine is great. The Service was incredible and in the 8 years I have lived in Baja, I have never had such good service."

"I have been searching for a great American Italian Restaurant here in Ensenada. Every city usually has at least one. So far I have been unable to find it here, and have been pretty disappointed with most of the Italian Restaurants in Ensenada. Ensenada has pretty good pizza here and there, but there are no restaurants with great pasta dishes. This was the closest that I have found so far. It's more traditional Italian food rather then Italian/American food. You will not find Alfredo and Vodka sauces as those are creamy American versions of Italian food and not real authentic Italian. The chef is from Italy and had a restaurant in California. If you are craving good Italian food, then this is the best that you will find in Ensenada."

"Reconocida como unas de las cavas más grandes de queso en México, un lugar bonito al exterior para pasar la tarde con una buena entrada y una copita de vino.Hacer el recorrido es interesante, ya que el proceso del queso es diferente a otros; pero si bajas a realizar la degustación de quesos en la cava no es nada fuera del otro mundo.Muy recomendable con 2-3 horas es suficiente, pero les comento que esta un poco lejos llegar al lugar y no hay muchas otras opciones de actividades cerca, como para irte desde temprano a Ojos Negros.. OJO: Abren a la 1:00 pm..!"

"After the suggestion of the wonderful owners of lechuza winery, we canceled our evening reservation at another place and booked at manzanilla. what a fabulous idea! this place is a hidden gem. the room is amazing, decorated with art and they feel like you in someone's...home the bar is carved in wood and is really a must to see. the foods and drinks were absolutely delicious and innovativ. not a single one. not to mention the owners and the staff was so warm and friendly. we'll be back every time. Do not miss this place!"
