"I had the most incredible experience at this restaurant for my one year anniversary! The staff went above and beyond by seating us at the same table as our first date, which was such a thoughtful touch. The level of hospitality was unmatched they truly made us feel special and cared for throughout the entire meal. The attention to detail, the delicious food, and the warm ambiance created an unforgettable evening. This restaurant has set the bar extremely high for any future dining experiences. It was the best hospitality I have ever experienced. A heartfelt thank you to the team for making our anniversary so magical. Five stars without a doubt!"

"Nice relaxing place for lunch. Very friendly staff. Some of the best calamari I have ever had in New Zealand. Very nice fish burger. I'm glad that we accidentally came across this place. Definitely recommend!!"

"Newly opened State Bistro offers a creative list of bar nibbles that leave your culinary curiosity satisfied and your stomach happy. My favourite was tempura prawns with its juicy core, crispy coating and aromatic spicy aftertaste. We also tried duck pâté in traditional European style with gherkins on the side. And mushrooms cigars were not your usual bar snack. Now need to check their lunches on Fridays and dinners."
