"Came here because I drove by the day before and saw it. We were going to the big chain Italian food restaurant but decided to Give this one a try. WE LOVED IT! Food was delicious and the waiter was very very friendly and knowledgeable. Forgot to take a picture of the actual food. But took one of the cheesecake and that was the best cheesecake I've ever had. A bit pricey. But will be coming back"

"Nice little hole in the wall place for Korean-Chinese food! This was my first time eating Black Bean Noodles, but it won't be the last. The portion size was great and even though I came on an empty stomach, I left nice and full. We also ordered the sweet and sour pork, which was a little different than the kind I've had at Chinese restaurants, but also very good. I hope I can come again!"

"Spaghetti in a Japanese restaurant? Yeah, I know it sounds weird, but trust me, it's good. As with a lot of “reinterpretted” cuisine, the results can vary, but most of the dishes offered in Spoonhouse are actually quite daring delicious. You have a wide selection of dishes to tempt your palate; from foreign squid wasabi spaghetti to the classic spaghetti meatballs they have a dish to please anyone who likes pasta. In addition to the variety, Spoonhouse likes to boast about their perfectly cooked Al Dente noodles, which are actually as they claim. Supposedly, a complicated system or prevention ensures that the noodles are consistent. This love of precision, gadgets and precision gadgets strengthens my theory that the Japanese are the Germans of Asia. The portions are hearty and the price is low, so go down and try some Japanese spaghetti. Just be prepared for a small crowded dining area."

"The pasta was delicious and reasonably priced. The burrata also tasted very fresh although I did not fully love the prosciutto. Giving 5 stars due to the pasta being really good. Service was also quite fast even with a line out the door to be seated."

"Mmm the chicken tikka, wow that flavor! Pleasantly surprised by this. Great for dipping naan in. A little greasy on top but solid flavor nonetheless. Definitely will get this again. Mixed veggie. I kinda wish they had a dish that was just steamed veggies. Ratio of carrots to other veggies weren't great. A little bit of sour aftertaste. Prob skip this and go for either any saag dish or would try the aloo gobhi next time. Basmati rice was a little hard. Garlic naan was ok. Had great herbs/garlic on it but a bit small, flat, and not as fluffy as I'm used to. Still flakey and delicious dipped in curry. Service was excellent. I only ordered pickup but the staff was very welcoming. Overall definitely going back to try the pizzas and some saag dishes!"

"I had been going to the other Italian restaurant that was located in Torrance on Hawthorne Blvd. for many, many years which by the way closed down for good a few years ago. I wished I had ventured to Lomeli 's earlier than I did. The food at Lomeli 's surpasses that of the 'V.... ' restaurant. I drove past there several times always saying, 'someday I need to try this place ', but never did until this year. We started by just ordering take out at first getting their lasagna which is my favorite pasta dish and it is absolutely amazing! Quality ingredients used to make each bite an exquisite experience. Two nights ago my husband and I finally went and dined in on my birthday. We were seated promptly and were given an appetizer of pepperoncinis and carrot sticks with delicious ranch dressing. Of course I ordered my favorite, lasagna, and my husband got the cheese ravioli with meat sauce. My dinner was complimentary because of it being my birthday. I was surprised to find that soup or salad came as part of the meal and along with a glass of wine and dessert! And not just on my meal but my husband 's meal as well. What a bargain! The salad wasn 't just lettuce like the 'V.... ' restaurant offered, but it had a slice of cheese, pepperoni slices, olives, in short it was an antipasto salad! Yummy, my favorite salad and it was extremely tasty! Dessert was ice cream and it was premium ice cream. I had the cappuccino ice cream with bits of coffee nubs laced throughout. I wished I hadn 't eaten as much of my entree as I couldn 't finish my dessert which made me sad to leave the last bite behind. The leftover meal could be boxed but not the ice cream. The staff sang 'Happy Birthday ' and addressed me by name which made it all the more a special occasion. What other restaurant does this? None other than Lomeli 's! The service was stellar! We will be dining there more often. My waistline may not like it but my tummy and taste buds will. Bravo Carlo Lomeli, owner of Lomeli 's! You 're my new favorite restaurant, and like your motto says, 'We 'll see you again tomorrow! '"

"Unfortunately, I didn't get the fried chicken breast I normally ordered. This chicken seemed that it came from Costco/Sam's club and was reheated; So disappointed. I was going to bring to lunch for a friend who requested it because I raved how great their fried chicken breast was, I am so glad I opened it to make sure it looks great before putting in the fridge, sadly it didn't look great."
