"Our BnB, The Big Sur, recommended we have dinner at this local restaurant a few minutes from their BnB. High in the mountains, away from the lake in a very small village, we weren’t expecting too much. Wow! We were blown away! By far, the best meal we had during our recent 2 wk Italy trip. Several waitresses spoke some English and were great to talk with! The homemade ravioli w sage and butter, my husbands pasta w meat sauce, we still dream of these dishes. They recommended a perfect bottle of wine which we enjoyed w our pasta and subsequent pizza. Our only regret? They were closed the following night or we most definitely would have gone back the 2nd night of our stay there! Worth the drive up those winding hills to find this gem!"

"On Thursday had to be booked in advance, but on Monday there were tables free at 8.30 o'clock. good eating with large portions. it was quite a wait to serve and our chips came after we had finished our main course! slightly chaotic, but excellent fish. 90 euro for 2 starters, 2 main, 2 beers and 1 wein."

"The restaurant deserves more attention, the location is very beautiful, a terrace so large on the lake of garda is a plus, then we compare ourselves with the service, rather inattentive and too long, agree that it is a tourist place but 45 minutes for a cold starter are really overdone, for 3 courses 2 hours is too much. Quality of courses without infamy and without praise, but you do not write scottata di tonno and then 2 prawns and 4 tiny pieces of tuna arrive that in the darkness of the terrace are not seen so much they are small, it would have been better to tell the customer we have finished the tuna I can propose an alternative . Disappointing service. excellent champagne, but they don 't. Prices ..... well we say that the location deserves something in terms of cost, but if we evaluate only the food we are not there, there is work to be done, I do not recommend it."
