"When looking for a venue to host our community event, Rosaria was unable to accommodate our booking due to potential loss of revenue, from, I assume other bookings or walk ins? Is it not first in best dressed for reservations, not waiting for a better offer in case we make more from them?"

"Stayed in the hotel which although showing signs of age was very comfortable, clean with a huge verandah to catch the river breezes and enjoy the view. Ensuite was attached and again very comfortable spacious but definitely in need of some decor upgrades. This...old lady reminiscent of old England has been around for a very long time in Grafton. Historical pics adorn the foyer walls adding to the atmosphere. The carpets are well worn but worn well, there's a communal kitchen offering fridge microwave, kettle and table setting mistky in the sun for breakfast/other meals. The verandah balcony includes tables chairs outside each room which also include TV, wardrobe with door, and dresser/chest of drawers. Room cleaned most days, bed made, fresh towels, soaps shampoos which assisted greatly when coming back after long work days. Drinks are available from the bar downstairs as are meals and snacks which are excellent, desserts presented well in display cabinet, beer garden and deck options for hotel/motel guests other patrons. Street and private onsite parking for cars small Vans. Larger RV etc can use the streets surrounding as they're very wide, flat with good access to the Cbd. NB no lift available so luggage needs to be carried up several flights of wide, carpeted stairs which may cause some issues. Stairs have been fitted with metal strips to highlight edges which does help. As a solo female on this occasion I felt safe in this environment although recommend you consider your safety after dark if arriving late or using street parking as street lighting patchy."

"My husband and I chose Austin as we had previously had brilliant meals there. This was to be a special Valentines night dinner, it was a fixed menu, three course meal at over $100 per person.the entrée should have warned us of what was to come, it was cold and inedible, the main course was inedible for me and my husband's bore no resemblance at all to the menu description.I thought no one could stuff up the dessert, but I was wrong, the creme' caramel had a beautiful toffee crunch on top but the rest you could pour into a cup and drink. To add insult to injury, when I complained about my main course the waitress stopped refilling my water glass and only refilled my husband's and then we were given a $5 discount with no apology.I am not normally someone who complains but the treatment and attitude of the staff on the night caused me so much stress I will not return and I make sure all my friends are aware of the 'wonderful' Valentine's evening we experienced at this restaurant."

"This restaurant is a understated and a bit of a surprise packet. I know a couple who go there regularly and they raved about how exceptional the fried dim sims were and insisted I try them. Seriously, how good can fried dim sims be? But I was convinced to order them and thank goodness for that. They are in a class of their own and are so delicious you will not want to share. This place also serves up the best sweet and sour pork I've ever had (and I've had some excellent ones). Great service!"

"This is the place to buy your BBQ chook in Grafton. It is tender, juicy and just delicious. I would rather support this local business to stay up and running and eat their chooks. They also do plenty of delicious salads, hot chips and take away meals. It is best for take away to eat on a picnic or at home."

"Pros: Plenty of toppings, spread right to the edges. Generous sizes for price. Pizza is filling. Reasonably priced garlic bread $3.50) Cheese is nice and stretchy, plenty of crispy cheese bits on the edges. All pizza options came with capsicum, onion and garlic on a tomato base. If you're not a fan of these things make sure you let the staff know so they can leave them off. Staff were friendly and courteous Cons: The menu has some really questionable ingredients. Carrot, broccoli and corn do not traditionally go on pizza, yet all the options featuring vegetables include carrot, broccoli and corn. Might be a better idea to keep the experimental ingredients on just a few pizzas so people can choose. There are some traditionally named pizza options on the menu but their contents do not reflect typical toppings for their name sakes. Eg. The Mexican pizza has olives. The Sweet Chilli Chicken pizza has beef. Due to the dense amount of toppings, the thick pizza dough base is not cooked all the way through. I personally enjoy some soft chewy pizza base, and the bottom surface of these pizzas still have a nice crunch, but if you're here for traditional Italian style woodfired pizza, then this pizza isn't for you. We found the pizza a bit greasy."
