"Went here for a meal whilst on holiday. The location is stunning and the building is amazing. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was exceptional. The pub was a nice mixture of locals and visitors. Very informal and great value for money."

"The food and service at this independent restaurant are both outstanding. I cannot fault it. They are very flexible for vegetarians and vegans, providing vegetarian options of most of their menu. This time I had apricots with Gorgonzola (do not hesitate) the best Gorgonzola I have ever had. The pasta was outstanding, they didn’t have pancetta so made with sausage. Again, best sausage I have ever had. Afrrogato for dessert, which is now my new favourite thing. Leo is a lovely host and his wife Alice who does the cooking is a genius. I had the house white, and it was excellent. Go, do not hesitate! I would go back to Hereford just to go there again! This was my second time, and I cannot wait to go back again."

"I went into this bar looking for a couple of drinks during the Leominster May Festival. They had no draught ciders or ales, and the bottled cider was Bulmers and warm. The ale was very cold. The two drinks came to £7+. It was not a good experience."

"Instant coffee sold at real coffee prices. £4.30 for bacon baguette and coffee. Ordered bacon baguette, bacon uncooked, lots of very hard fat, asked for butter but was given margarine, no explanation that butter wasn’t available, just substituted without discussion. Utterly vile. The closest I’ve come to throwing food away in years. On the plus side the lady serving was friendly and they had a very tasty looking range of lunchtime sandwich fillings."

"Wonderful quality and quantity of well priced and assorted foods which took care of allergies and a slightly odd brief of a gathering 'breakfast '. It was super with a mix of fruit, finger foods, cheese, ham and quality bread. Additionally, the catering team set up whilst we were in the service and provided the necessary plates and serving tools. Thanks very much to the team and the boss! Would warmly recommend this for a 'foodie ' group who have been known to be fussy and particular. Really good!! Wonderful service and experience for a stressful event which made it all a bit easier"
