"Romantic, beautiful and completely refurbished hotel in old buildings in the beautiful town of Deidesheim in the Bad Dürkheim-district in the state of Rheinland-Pfalz. Just south west of the old town of Koblenz and close to Germanys oldest present city, the old Roman city of Trier. Also just south of the Rhine and Mosel valleys. Beautiful surroundings and the best wine area of all of Germany. There are dozens of Michelin and Bib Gourmand rated restaurant per kilometer in the area. Pick your spot for your preferable experience, cuisine and budget and go from there. This one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited. The hotel’s got a fantastic garden. The breakfast is magnificent and if you stay during a weekend it is recommendable to book a table at one of Ketschauer Hof’s own restaurants. They are closed on Mondays as are most restaurants of fine dining in Europe."

"We had a lovely relaxing time and enjoyed all aspects of our visit and the facilities especially the treatments. We didn’t realise that children were allowed in the pool and perhaps it would have been good to know that beforehand so we would have been prepared for the noisiness, or booked at a quieter time. Perhaps there could be specific times that adults only are allowed to access the pool? That said, it didn’t spoil our experience and all the staff were absolutely lovely. Highly recommended. Thank you."

"My wife is gluten-free and most food is suitable here. we shared a dip peacamol that came with blue maischips. we then shared the jerk goat main. then we've ever had a whisper, the basque cheese cake and the cherry bakewell pudding. that was fantastic. the service was also excellent, they treated both of our allergies perfectly. this is the type of place they want to book for the next meal before they have left the restaurant."
