"The staff was friendly and welcoming. The salad bar was fresh and delicious. My husband and I ordered the chicken salad on a croissant and we were both very disappointed. The chicken salad had no taste. The French fries were good and hot. But the chicken salad... killed it."

"Visited on a Thursday night, the atmosphere was pleasant not crowded. Nice bar dining area. Our server was very knowledgeable courteous, as was the bartender. I really enjoyed the lobster shrimp burger with truffle fries took half home! I’ve been visiting LG over 40 years, there aren’t many places where I enjoy the venue, menu, or food, but I highly recommend this place!! Will definitely be back very soon!!"

"It was our first time here. The food was great and Betty (the waitress) was very pleasant. We will definitely visit there the next time. We had French toast with delicious blackberry/Raspberry sauce. Yummy"

"Their beer selection was top notch. I enjoyed the Lake George IPA. A citrusy beer with a hoppy finish. Worth buying a 4 pack to bring home! I had a CBA Salad, a special for tonight and B (bacon) heavy in a good way! Who doesn’t love extra bacon?! My date had the chicken and spinach pasta which was a little boring. Could’ve used a heartier sauce or sautéed garlic in the sauce. Tasty but needed a little “oomph.” Also, those pint glasses are so fun! Service was excellent! I’ll be back!"

"Had a great time hanging out on the 2nd floor deck overlooking the frozen lake during Winter Carnival Feb 17 18. Loved that Christmas decorations and that awesome tree were still up!! Everyone was super friendly, what a festive atmosphere. LOVED the fact that the place is dog friendly on the 1st floor outdoor deck. Live music on both stories was such a great surprise! I forget her name but the bartender outside up there was awesome! Also great place to watch the fireworks from. Will be back!"

"I've been here several times and never had a bad meal. Actually always 4 star plus. But it's not waterfront, and I've gone to other favorites. Well on Monday and Tuesday they are the only fine dining restaurant on the east side of Lake George. So I ordered Steamed clams. Amazing. No grit. Tender. Perfect. Best I've had outside a NJ or Maryland clam house. The Manhattan cocktails were also perfect. The food stunning. My partners Veal parm, melt in your mouth. My fra diavlo perfect. Seafood melts in your mouth. Pasta perfectly andante . One of the best Italian meals I've had on the Eastern Seaboard. And I've lived in NY city, NJ, near Philadelphia and in Washington DC. Also extensive wine list. Classic Italian. Music is American standards and Jazz. This place just moved way up my list. Service was great. If your here to dine, was fine. If you're in a rush. Go elsewhere. I've spent 3 lovely hours here. Terra masu was over the top. If your looking for Italian around Lake George, this is the place."

"Meh. Came for dinner on a Saturday night… should have known it was mediocre by the lack of crowd for a Saturday… seated on the lake side of the upper deck… fun view. We had drinks and dinner that included a burger, a fish fry and some steamed clams and lobster bisque. My 13 year old inhaled his bigger… but he inhales everything. I had the bisque and clams… they were far from the best, didn’t taste bad, but the clams were small and mealy and the bisque was lacking. My husband rarely complains, and dutifully ate his fish fry, but never said he enjoyed it, which he usually will say when we are out to eat. Mary, our waitress was very friendly and checked on us often. Of all of the options in Lake George, we are not likely going back to this one."
