"Recently I had the pleasure of dining at this authentic family operated restaurant. Food was fantastic with particular attention to detail and presentation. The whole meal was perfect, from the appetisers, home made savory pastries, through to the excellent pasta and wonderfully presented meat dishes. To top off a great meal, excellent service in a warm friendly rustic environment. Definately worth trying, I'll be going back soon for sure!"

"We stumbled upon this small cozy trattoria while on a bike tour through the small villages in the Apennines'. The very first thing that struck us was the scenery; the outdoor dining patio overlooks a turret in front of the beautiful 16th century castle, literally yards away. The beautiful castle is illuminated at night. Below us spread out the valley and the neighboring hilltop castles beyond the grove of olive trees on this agriturismo. Secondly we were struck by the welcoming attitude of ours hosts/chef, who both spoke perfect English as they had spent some time in the States. It was fun to share some common ground with these interesting people and they took a lot of time explaining the menu to us and the history behind the different dishes. We each ordered an antipasto and a pasta dish, as well as trying rabbit for the first time (which is our new favorite dish! The pasta was homemade and wonderful, the sauces were delicious. We also enjoyed the different wines and a great espresso after dinner. The place is small, I guess it seats about 40 people maximum, and it was fairly busy that night but the service was fast and friendly and we were encouraged to relax and enjoy the evening. We really did not want the night to end, it was one of those great memories for us that made our trip to Italy so special."
