"General The Mykonos is located in Mainaschaff directly on the railway line from Darmstadt to Aschaffenburg. Parking is enough in the area. For a long time under the owner Costa, a Greek who had a good hand in dealing with the guests, and since his food was always good, always had a full house. For a few years, the restaurant has been run as a myconos by a well-known gentleman in the main affluent gastronomy under the name Kalli. All pizzas had a nice crispy dough, the edge was not too thick, well occupied, but did not pass through, the diavolo very sharp, as desired. All pizza eaters found them well. Overall, I would rate the food with 3.5 stars, but since a meal was forgotten, the Parmesan was not served as described, and the plates were unfortunately not preheated and so quickly everything went into the liquor, I still round off to good 3 stars. The ambience is difficult to describe. It's like that, the other one isn't. When you get in, you'll be in front of the counter and go to the first guest room. On the left, there are 6 tables on the longitudinal side, on the right separated by glass walls also 6 tables, surrounded by padded benches, on one end a chair can be placed thereon. There are also one or two smaller tables. Today's table, wall and ceiling equipment had either the decoration of a New Year's Eve party or was so wanted for the carnival period. Of course, this was not done directly, but on the way back the car was quickly driven into the washing plant, bought our favorite coffee on the frying of our trust. As it is for pensioners, the pharmacy also offered a visit with shopping and last but not least the woman fulfills her desire to visit two boutiques before the meal in which she was actually found. So we entered the Bistro Mainhattan, hunger and thirst. Parking in front of the restaurant is just a few, but nearby there are large pitches for all visitors of the shops, doctors, supermarkets, car dealers etc. and of course also restaurants. The Mainhattan is the successor to the existing Gastro plant in Gastro and since August last year. Anyone who believes that the target group is only younger is probably huge, because during our visit to this day at noon almost all ages from students to pensioners were represented, even with grandchildren. There was a small herbal salad and fries (not on the map). At the Pommes I could also choose from sweet potatoes recommended by the service. You and my wife convinced me to try them. I'm convinced, and I didn't regret it. The burger (photo itself was served on a large plate, so there was enough space to put the individual elements on it. Of course there were knives and forks, but I was inspired by a gentleman sitting on the wall and took the burger in the hand to bite. It went like that without knocking. Anyway, he tasted great. The chopped beef was not only recognizable (about 1.5 cm thick, but also felt good in the mouth. I used the fork only for the herbal salad and the fries. Okay, after that, I had to wash my hands. Sweetheart from the lunch card ordered: Grilled chicken breast fillet with broccoli, peanut sauce and rice (7,90 €). The part saw something lost on the big plate, but it was enough for them. The meat was tender and not fatal, the rice okay, the broccoli bite resistant, the peanut sauce okay, but at our favorite Chinese you taste better. Little anecdote from the side table: a few pensioners known to us with American roots were there for dinner with his 7-year-old grandson.
