"We wandered the streets of Monticelli Terme looking for a dinner spot for our family. We came across Cala Luna which looked very inviting from the outside. We were immediately greeted warmly and with our limited Italian and their limited english we managed. It looked very family focussed and there was a lot of choice for us and our young children. As you must do in Italy we went for pasta and pizza. The adults enjoyed a bottle of Sangiovese and everything was simple and delicious! We were made to feel very welcome and we had a delightful meal. As we were used to eating earlier we were first in the restaurant however it soon filled up after us and looked popular with the locals. Definitely recommend Cala Luna Pizzeria."

"There is little to say, more good brioches and cannons that I have ever eaten even considering well more renowned pastries! The cream cannons are something sublime....a fine pastry bar, where breakfasts would never end..... And I'll take them home."
