"The shopping area in which this restaurant is located has little going for it. Like the rest of the complex, it has a functional, expensive, but rather sterile atmosphere. However, the restaurant, in spite of its icy black and metal décor, is friendly and serves really good food. To open you get two small pieces of bruschetta with tomato and basil. Tasty and simple. The menu has various meat, fish, and pasta dishes -- the accent is Mediterranean. There's a also a very good fish soup served on croute. On both of my visits (we were staying at an apartment about 100 metres away) I had pasta, which was fresh, the correct texture, and extremely appetising. The coffee was fine and the waitress charming. Moreover, she remember our first visit down to our fondness for spicy food.I think this restaurant is in danger of obscurity due to its location, but Bern is not so well served by restaurants as other parts of the country, so I really hope it survives. It's a good deal better than the mediocre hotel restaurant nearby that locals seems to flock to (Sternen)."
