"Service was good, appetizer was really good, the main course pasta with shrimp was terrible, the pasta was all stuck together in one block, that’s the best I can describe it, you had to cut it with a knife, it was cold and tasteless, I did not complain or send it back, I don’t do that, On a positive note the bread was Delicious, maybe it was just an off night for the chef"

"The place is nice, great music, food was cooked as we ordered it. Tuesdays is our day to avoid crowds. The inside and the outdoor (covered and open) areas are both quaint and somewhat rustic."

"I only chose 1 star because it wouldn’t let me choose 0. Just left there without eating after being there over an hour, questioning multiple times where our food is… so many people came in after us and got their food way before us. Got told by the waiter that they probably “bumped” our order.. once we got the food it wasn’t even luke warm. Horrible service. Did not eat. Spoke to the manager, and left."

"Went here for a birthday lunch. Amazed at how they were busy at 2:30 but didn't skip a beat. Service was good. Sat in the room with the river view. We had a variety of food. Onion Rings large were plentiful and delicious for those tahr like onion rings. Tortilla Soup, Grilled Chicken with Mash Potatoes, Chicken Fried Steak with Green Beans and Catfish with Mash Potatoes. All were excellent choices."

"Me, my wife, and our son came to get dinner around 6:30 PM, and were told there would be a 25-30 minute wait. So we waited. Maybe 10 minutes had passed, and our table was ready. Our server, Rey, was awesome! He was constantly coming and checking on us, and making sure everything was satisfactory, and it absolutely was. I ordered a medium rare sirloin, and it was cooked to perfection, the calamari was also delicious. I have zero complaints. Great job, Rey. We’ll be back.Kid-friendliness: The staff was extremely friendly with my son.Parking: There is plenty of parking"

"We stopped by Texas Bistro for dinner on a recent Saturday after concluding some business in town. The restaurant is a small place, but very airy and cheerfully decorated. The Texas theme is everywhere, and fun! The restaurant had a crab cake special that evening, so we started there. OMG! What a huge plate of food. Monster crab cakes, 99% crab, very little filler, on top of boiled/smashed/fried whole potatoes, on top of pureed zucchini. Darn good! Perfectly seasoned, served nice and hot! Based on platers we saw being delivered to other tables, and our waitress recommendation, we tried the stuffed poblano pepper next ... Crazy Good! The pepper is stuffed with potatoes, corn, zucchini and black beans, and we added shrimp. Topped with melted cheese and sitting in a roasted jalapeno cream sauce, served over cilantro seasoned rice, the stuffed poblano is very worthy of its reputation as a crowd favorite. They split the dish for us to share, no charge, which is always nice. We had a glass of white wine with dinner ... the wine list, while not exhaustive, has a decent variety of varietals, very reasonably priced. We had a 5 star dinner at Texas Bistro, and will definitely stop again by when we 're in the neighborhood. Easily, one of the top restaurants in the New Braunfels, TX area!"

"The envy will pursue their dreams. as someone who grew up in new brownfels, but currently not living there, cravings is in my head as really one of the best places to eat in the city and if I ever happen to find myself in nb at a weekday to midday, they think better I go to get some of the best sandwiches I've ever had. this place is special. try her suppe. get the pesto pasta instead of chips. get one of these incredible cookies. be happy."
