"We flew in rain to skavsta. we crossed nyköping in rain. we had learned about danutas through a previous web search, and decided that the small caffe would be the ideal place to try a traditional Swedish farewell immediately after the land entry. we also hoped to get out of the rain for a bit and perhaps warm our bells and bones with some local kitchen. what danuta was ready only a few minutes after the opening was local but not traditional. there were several pasta dishes prepared for take-and-bake or ready to be heated in the restaurant, and there were some salads with local ingredients. raz went for an salat, and I for a pasta, but a little language barrier wound up with us get 2 plates pasta and a single salat. No matter the pasta was completely amazing, and I was happy to pack the second plate to take it with us and to eat later. danuta is an artist of taste combination. the pasta was a combination of a white sauce, local cheese, wild mushrooms and a local sausage that I do not have a complete translation of. the salate was fresh, light, green, heart-shaped and filled all at once. I will go back and mention the language barrier, as we hardly have rudimentary sentences in Swedish. the use of the modern internet is the lightness with which the pages translate into different languages. this will be easily problematic when they rely on the essentiality of the translated website to order in a language they do not actually speak. this is because we don't do any more homework, but danuta was endlessly patient with our trying to communicate and get a little of their speech while we were in it. danutas dining room also deserves a note to be bright, clean and welcoming, even with the pale gray sky outside. the front windows were created to catch every last sunbeam, and the soft colors used in the inner could feel like a caffe in the summer, regardless of the season. this is a definitiv one must stop and for the plate, the pasta we took for the road, everything was so amazing when we had it to dinner."
