"We made an online reservation on The Fork/La Fourchette for Tuesday, August 1. We had a nice 30 minute walk from our apartment in the 7th to Le Perron only to find it closed when we arrived. It seems they are closed for renovations or for summer break, but it is still on the site for people to make reservations. I can't believe this hasn't happened to other would-be diners. I am not sure who is to blame for this, but it should be addressed. We ended up going to another Italian place across the street which was just okay. It was the only dining disappointment of our trip. The menu looks great, and we were looking forward to dining here."

"I've come to this restaurant for years, only at noon, as a couple or as friends we eat there (for me) the best pizza parisla pate is made hand, the well chosen ingredients and a resultat always copied and very good. Pizza is made and cooked in front of you by a real Italian, this restaurant has been in existence for 30 years and is family. a sure value!"

"I cannot believe some of the reviews below! 1. If you rate a restaurant based on background music, please stay at home. You don’t deserve to dine out. (Btw, music was great. The mix went from funky rock to light house. It was tres chic and exactly what I’d expect from an upscale restaurant in Paris. 2. If you rate a restaurant based on waiting staff smiling at you, please refrain from dining anywhere but Olive’s Garden and chain restaurants in the US. The staff isn’t here to entertain you. They’re here to advise you on the menu, take your order and bring you your food. That’s it. We absolutely enjoyed our dinner, and we’re not easily impressed. We sat at the table by the window so people watching was great. The inside interior is chic, warm, and intimate. A very sexy place with its plush, velvet chairs and dark, moody walls. A+ on the atmosphere. The food was great! Ordered endives salad, truffles risotto, and veal Milanese, with a couple of sides. And a bottle of Chateauneuf de Pape, of course. While we weren’t very hungry we finished every bite. Don’t be scared away by some of the ill advised reviews below. Don’t expect fake smiles from (any server (anywhere in Europe , and you’ll be fine. Try saying “merci”, and ask them their name you’ll see they’re quite lovely and humble. Try being the same."
