"We are a family of three who had dinner in O Peirao de Rial during a week stay in Combarro. In summary, although the location is very appealing, the place is over-priced compared to nearby restaurants. The service is awful. There was one person serving a large room, neglecting many tables including ours, where he allowed dirty plates to pile up. The service is also very slow, with frequent mistakes at least during our visit. Concernign the food, try to avoid the burnt pizzas made from very heavy dough and cremated until over-done. The prawns that we tried were average, not very fresh. The wines had a considerable markup. For example, we drank the same bottle wine a day before for 6€ less in a restaurant rated higher on tripadvisor. OUR ADVICE: walk past this restaurant. Within 50 meters, you'll find several better, more reasonably priced ones with better service. These are rated higher on the Tripadvisor list."
