"First thing I noticed when we walked in, was how bright it was. Full lights, no atmosphere at all. (Some down lights or pendants would make it a more charming place The walls have wallpaper of Italian themes. The chairs are really nice and comfortable. Soft padded. It was full of customers inside, but too cold to sit outside (there is a covered patio style area out the back, where the pizza oven was going probably good in summer? We got a table for 2 in the middle of restaurant. Service was ok. Not friendly, but not lacks either. Seems like new owners? Food was pretty good. The pork belly was tender with lots of kumara chips and salad. The arancini balls were good. 4 on a plate. We had one glass of wine (a small variety on the list and a soft drink and the bill was $55. It was an fair night out. I think if there was an Italian competitor in the area, they may not have so much business. It lacks friendliness and charm. But the food was fair."

"4 meals- The steak was nice, but the hand-cut chips were soft (as in 'wet') and couldn't eat. The pizza was nice, the pasta dish had just cooked pasta. Not quite al dente! The scallops were only just cooked, but on a perfect base. We wouldn't go back."
