"Met someone for lunch. Tables are a little close together so we ate at a bar end, which neither one of us had anyone sitting next to us. The Fried Green Tomatoes and Creme Brulee were great. The Shrimp and Grits was good but barely had grits. The Lobster Pasta was ok."

"I'm always excited for Roswell Restaurant Week, and after a strenuous process of elimination with some friends, we finally settled on Pastis. Parking is paid parking right beside the restaurant. If it's not a busy night, I suggest trying to circle around for free parking on the street nearby. We definitely jumped the gun parking next to the restaurant in the paid lot. We entered the restaurant and noticed it was completely empty. I found it odd since there were plenty of pools walking outside the area. While we were seated on the patio listening to the live musician doing acoustic Michael Jackson covers, we noticed people walking by commenting on how much they loved the place but they didn't come inside. Odd. The $30 set menu was pretty extensive and looked delicious, which is why we chose the restaurant. We failed to note that there was only one dessert option chocolate mousse. One of our friends has a chocolate allergy (I know, tragic) and the server made it very clear that there were to be no substitutions. Even so, our server went back to the kitchen and asked for an exception. He was brought a creme brûlée, which made me pretty jealous since that's what I would have preferred... FOOD: The three cheese tortelloni was pretty tasty with the artichokes. I'm not sure why there was so much cream sauce, but it made for a great dip for our bread. I also tried the calamari, which was just ok. That bison short rib was DELISH and the highlight of the meal. While there was only one in the Restaurant Week size entree, it fell right off the large bone. The vegetables that it came with were pretty meh, especially the undercooked eggplant. The chocolate mousse was a bit of a letdown. It reminded me of a fluffy chocolate jello mousse cup. Nothing special, but my friends didn't seem to mind it. Overall, Pastis wasn't very impressive not something I would make the drive up to Roswell for again, at least. It wasn't bad, but it's hard to compete with some better options down Canton Street."

"My sister and I came here to celebrate her birthday dinner! We were SOOO happy with every aspect of this place. The kindest people work here, shout out to Natalya for being such a sweet waitress and being so accommodating! They got a card and cake for my sisters birthday and it was such a sweet gesture and really appreciated! They give complimentary focaccia which is so perfect especially with a very nice olive oil for dipping! The mock tails are soo flavorful and don’t feel like a glass of soda, they have lots of depth and interesting flavor. The burrata with fruit was sooo soft and creamy. My sister was obsessed with the short rib ravioli. She says it’s one of the best meals she’s ever had! Incredibly umami and flavorful. The parmesan adds perfect touch to such a deep and savory meal. I had the tomato goat cheese soup, it was one of the most luxurious soups I ever consumed! Sooo flavorful and had such incredible body! We will definitely be coming here again! The setting is so dreamy and romantic, and just everything about this place is perfect and a fine dining experience that is sooo worth every penny!
