"Had a very pleasant dinner here with a group of friends. Service was extremely efficient and friendly. God, extensive menus. My meal was quite good, although the pork a little dry and over cooked. The sauce however was good. Nice atmosphere."

"Unfortunately, the quality, but also the courtesy here are completely sunk. pizza was delivered the x-te mal uncut. the employee doesn't care: does it bother you now? that is also a free performance of us. If it bothers, they will order in future better elsewhere. instead of getting an apology, this sold me as an honest statement to the employee. the salat insalata piccolo contains cheap precut salate with any amount of blue and white herb. the chef ham no longer tasted edible, even disgusting. instead of mozzarella as before was just a little cheaper rub cheese scattered over it and also the rest of the salad did not look very good. at least after that I began to get rid of the spaghetti, my wife had bound herself in the naked plate that she can't stand at all. we will no longer order here and recommend in sonthofen umberto, or delivery service aurora."

"Arrived here on the most auspicious Sunday evening with Germany playing in the World cup final as a result of which this restaurant along with most of the rest in town were closing early. The Gasthof is situated on the outskirts of town and also serves as a local for my wife's friends' son and family who leave nearby in walking distance. The restaurant is warm dark traditional and friendly with huge portions. My wife and her friend each had the Wienerschnitzel which proved too much for them delicious as it was and I was forced to assist them in finishing the main. The friend's son had Rostbraten which was in fact a great steak and I enjoyed the Hirschragout or venison casserole which definitely hit the spot. Drinks included a large coke, Radler, an Action (excellent local brewery)Hell-light beer, and two large weinschorle (white wine Spritzers) for the ladies. by this time we were replete and wouild not have had space for pudding. Overall very satisfactory having a family run restaurant on your doorstep and good value at 66.80 Euros for the four of us."

"Bereits als wir ankamen, hat nur die Kellnerin mit meiner Freundin und mir gesprochen. Der Kellner war wie schon häufiger beschrieben recht unfreundlich und setzte erst eine gewisse Freundlichkeit auf, als weiter Gäste an unseren Tisch kamen.Die Bestellung ging schnell und unkompliziert und der Hauptgang kam auch zügig. Das Schnitzel war gut und das Fleisch der anderen Gerichte war zäh und somit unterdurchschnittlich aber eine Zumutung waren die Beilagen. Die Röstis waren gekauft und frittiert, dass das Fett aus ihnen herausfloss und die Knödel waren gekaufte Knödel, die in Scheiben geschnitten wurden und gebraten worden sind. Darauf angesprochen hat die Kellnerin uns direkt gesagt, dass z.B. die Röstis gekauft und in einer Fritteuse aufbereitet werden. 2 Minuten später kam der Kellner und hat vehement abgestritten, dass etwas gekauft oder frittiert gewesen sein sollte. Dumm nur, dass es uns vorher von seiner Kollegin bestätigt wurde. Daraufhin wurden wir 20 Minuten ignoriert.Auf die Nachspeise haben wir 45 Minuten gewartet und auf Nachfrage vom Kellner lediglich die Antwort bekommen, dass die Nachspeise noch in der Fritteuse sei.Der Nachtisch kam dann aber sofort und war auch lediglich mittelmäßig. Beim Abräumen versicherte die Kellnerin wiederum, dass alles frisch wäre, wobei sie eine Stunde zuvor noch sagte, dass nicht alles frisch wäre.Über mittelmäßiges Essen lässt sich streiten aber für dumm verkaufen sollte man keine Gäste und frech und schnippisch erst recht nicht werden."
