"We had a team dinner in a private room. Loved the ambiance throughout the entire restaurant. Dark woods with muted lighting. Staff was friendly and attentive. Filet cut like butter and was cooked to perfection. Mashes potatoes had great flavor. Best mocktail I've had anywhere. Mango something glorious (actual name I cannot recall). Maybe one of the best prix fixe meal ever."

"We were in the DC area for a wedding and staying at the Ritz-Carlton at Tysons Corner that is located next door to the Palm. Our reservation was immediately honored, although I would have preferred a booth, which was not offered (and as my cousin was our guest, I didn’t want to make a stink). The waiter was a bit curt, but adequate. He advised us of the specials, but didn’t cite the prices. We ordered appetizers, main courses, and desserts. My husband liked the half-dozen oysters; the calamari could have been crisper and the marinara was small. My cousin liked his chicken parm. My husband and I split a twelve-ounce filet mignon, which I thought was tough and overcooked. The side of au gratin potatoes was so-so — certainly not as good as Capital Grille’s version. The grilled asparagus was fine. The waiter checked in after we had started to dig into our main courses and said: “Everything delicious!” We didn’t agree but kept quiet. We had the doughnuts and crème brûlée for dessert: the doughnuts were good; the crème brûlée was mediocre. Rare for us: we didn’t eat all the desserts. Net-net: I wouldn’t go back to this location. Morton’s. Capital Grille. Ruth Chris. All worth a visit. The Palm: not so much."

"I enjoyed the food. I had the rack of Lamb. My friends have roasted the lemon and rosemary chicken and the shrimps and lobster fetters."
