"This place is a little off the main drag and doesn't look too inviting, but if you're looking for good curry dishes this is a winner. You don't eat at front of shop but are taken to "dining rooms" at rear of restaurant. I think they may specialise in Southern India cuisine. Lots of choice on menu, good staff assistance. My wife and I had a excellent value and taste curry dinner. It's BYO."

"Don't be fooled! It might look like just a cafe that does burgers for the cinema folks, but it's actually an excellent restaurant with delicious food and superb service. The risotto is made properly in the Italian style and is wonderful. And their pizzas are excellent. And great value for money. Wine is available by the glass, with an adequate range. Definitely recommended."

"We were very happy with the large dining area, ambience, wall full of local produce for sale and the friendly staff. Good menu and also a selection of cakes/pies at the counter. Would definitely stop here again when passing through Warwick."

"What a wonderful surprise was to visit rupert’s bar grill. what impressed us first was the personal, they were so attentive, professional and friendly. we have decided to eat a selection of deer, and each one of them was amazing. not what we expected from a country town, and the prices were more than reasonable. we were so impressed that we were back in our second night in the city. if they are looking for fine eating without the price tag, this is the place for them."

"This is a really conflicted 2 star. We ordered hot chips burger and drink, coffee and 2 x cakes. I asked for some alterations to the burger and it took a bit of convincing, as she said that’s not the burger on offer, we wanted just a meat burger with bacon and cheese and she just really couldn’t comprehend it even as she read the order back to me she said just a “bacon and cheese burger no egg”, I had to repeat several times I wanted a meat patty. The chips were clearly cooked in old oil and were not very nice at all. I asked for chicken salt just as I was paying for the meal and the lady I presume who either ran the shop or owned it it, said , “too late to tell them you can put it on after yourself” (which I thought was a bit strange as the receipt hadn’t even printed out so the kitchen wouldn’t even know about the order yet). My coffee was like a warm milk, I had to ask for another shot of coffee and there was a young girl who was lovely about that. We waited particularly long. However the burger when it came was very nice. The marshmallow caramel cake was oddly different, but tasteful and the vanilla slice was enjoyable."
