"We went to Colosseo for dinner tonight for my birthday and it was wonderful! The hostess quickly and efficiently checked our vaccine cards assuring us that all staff is fully vaccinated. Our wine/beer arrived in a timely manner and our pizza did as well. It...was hot and fresh. The taste was superb, the toppings more than generous. I was even given a slice of the most amazing tiramisu for my birthday. We enjoyed every minute and for sure we will be back sooner rather than later."

"Had the veal Milanese. It was overcooked, dry and hard. Nice enough place, seemed very busy. Bread sticks for appetizer were good. Just disappointed on the veal. Spouses meal was fettucini with mushroom sauce but was a tad too light on sauce. On the plus side service was couteous and cheerful."

"Being born and raised in Winnipeg, when I visit home, nice to go back to the small family restaurants I remember so well. Never disappoint. I had the Veal Parmesan with salad and house dressing...sssooooo delicious. Hubby had the penne with cream sauce and shrimp. Licked our plates clean. If in the area very worth your evening"

"The restaurant was closed. Or permanently shut down for all I know. This says more about Open Table being on the ball than it does about this restaurant. Alas, we were forced to go next door to dine, to Bailey's, where we paid $80 for salad. Thanks for nothing Open Table. You're a waste of my time. And, it seems, my money."

"My family celebrated my husband 70th birthday today. What a great experience it was! The food was exquisite, staff was very friendly. "The highlights of our meals were the coconut shrimp and the stuffed mushrooms. The texture of the coconut is hugely present so if you aren't a fan of that be wary. I had the lobster linguine and felt the flavors were very plain. The lobster was a tad rubbery. The juices and sauce from my dish were excellent for dipping my biscuits, though! Mm. Those biscuits. Crumbly and cheesy and garlic. If not a bit dry. It's expensive for the quality (low mediocre). If I went back if probably wait until there was some deal on shrimp so I could devour all the coconut shrimp."

"Twenty years ago Nicolino's was a favourite but it fell off our radar. I've been twice in the past month and had inconsistent experiences. With one friend we had the Mediterranean chicken pizza and chèvre salad. Both were great and the red wine promotion was very good. The second visit with another friend was much different. I drank the house wine which was, well house wine, and not particularly enjoyable. We tried the crostini wild boar for an appetizer. The taste and texture reminded be of beef short ribs. The flavour was robust and the highlight of the meal. The cosimo pizza on gluten free crust seemed halfhearted. The toppings were scarce and it was quite flavourless. The cavetelli was straightforward. Our meals came with side salads, garden and Caesar and neither were noteworthy of lettuce or dressing. The service was friendly on both occasions and parking is ample."
