"There is not a single item on this menu that’s anything less than fantastic. we’ve had the mofongo, sancocho, grilled octopus, burger, cubano, empanadas, tostones rellenos. they’re all EXCEPTIONAL, and there’s so much more i want to try. the folks who work here are also the absolute kindest and coolest. when i’m at puerto viejo, i’m just happy, man! the vibes and ambiance are on point too. great for dates, friend hangs, family outings, really you name it. 15/10"

"Simply and delicious Dominican food at a fair price. The rosted chicken was very tasty; the rice was made excellent, and satisfying. The service was pleasant and friendly as well. Great place for lunch. We enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it."

"Just left this place the food was horrible. The mondongo was old and had no taste. The rice and beans and mondongo wasnt hot. The old lady server was server was very rude and never came to our table. I had to chase her around to get anything and she would ignore not just our table but the tables around us as well. Then to top it off she added an 18% tip to the bill. We will never go back there again!"

"Best DOMINICAN rest. All we ordered was authentic, delicious and very beautiful decorations. We had pescado frito, Chimi, sancocho, arroz con habichuelas, aguacate, empanadas....de 'to. Even the small chips they have brought out were on the point. Deff recommend, we always come back when in Houston"

Very nice attention, well decorated, the ambience is very familiar??..ask for the specials they have as it changes daily. Will never get tired of eating here!
