"Dined there on our first night in Edinburgh, after long drive up we felt it would be perfect to eat there and explore more the following days. It was absolutely delightful, the food was immaculately presented, fresh, flavoursome and out if this world, It was sparsely populated with most people in there enjoying a nice cocktail and a pint of Innes and Gunn. I would highly recommend the restaurant, I had the Prix Fixe menu with haggis spring rolls. cod loin and chocolate fondant. It was all incredible. Just one word of warning, the wife had a cocktail that nearly knocked her socks off, they are potent and full of booze."

"There wasn't a huge selection as we went in at the end of the day but what we did have was absolutely delicious. A sandwich, a salad chocolate and raspberry cake. They also had a great little shop for other eco bits and bobs. Grab some lunch and head into the botanical gardens. Worth the walk up."

"I really want to like this place! It 's in a location that you wouldn 't expect to find a vegan restaurant, it 's got a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and is a beautiful building with a very cool ramshackle outdoor space. But the food is not really good enough. Vegan food on offer in restaurants has come so far recently, but here it still feels like all those disappointing meals you got a few years ago. Cakes are a bit to margarine tasting. Their cheese dishes aren 't very nice. Even the soup was disappointing. Maybe I 've just been unlucky, but I 've eaten here a couple of times with my family and between us we tried quite a few different dishes. That said, it seems really popular with locals and seems to have lots of regulars, so it might just have been bad luck. The coffee is nice!! I really wish them the best it 's such a nice place. I will keep visiting when I come to Edinburgh in the hope that they get it right my luck changes."

"All stars are for the guy who works there. amazing service, fast, professional and polite. I have a tuna smelting bag, which I unfortunately did not like the thun fish coming from a purchased cargo that looks like paste. the bagel itself was average, but the employee is top notch clear example how large the customer service can affect its business."
