"We have been ordering breakfast from here 3 days in a row because they are so awesome! My daughter likes the plane bagel with jam, we love the pastrami egg and cheese bagel, the Ruben on an everything bagel and the bacon egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel. So delicious, always hot! Thank you all!"

"Great staff and service. Food is also at an elevated level. The drinks are fantastic too. Both the cocktails and the mocktails. Love the beet cocktail and the cucumber non alcoholic drink. Patio is large with comfy couches and chairs. There is an open part and a fully covered part. Good for gatherings. The set tasting menu at 55 bucks per person is a really good deal but we went a la carte. The Parker House rolls with the butter topped with crispy chicken skin crackling…. OMG. The corn cavatella was another top dish. Don’t get the clams. The cacio e pepe agnolotti also fantastico. Tomato salad also good. Rockfish also good. But the cacio e Pepe dis, the Parker house rolls, and the corn dish are all must gets. Avoid the clams and the margarita. As I mentioned, service is great. I left my credi card and they called ti say that they had it. Another good reason to make a reservation. Desserts are okay except for the carrot cake which is way too wet. Moist is good but wet is claggy."

"Best pastrami sandwich in DC....by a landslide! A few other places had a decent one (like now closed On Rye in Chinatown , but they were always overpriced and just not worth the money. For under $9, you can get a large hot pastrami sandwich that will rock your taste buds (and it comes with a really, really good pickle . Don 't get me wrong. This place doesn 't look cool and it 's a hike to get there (it 's nowhere close to a metro , but it 's worth it. It 's a 1960s small hut with a orange mural marking its location. When you walk in, it feels like a small cafeteria filled with locals eating their sandwiches. You 'll see construction workers and old men in suits and hats having lunch (they aren 't open for dinner...darn! . After reading the very old menu, a friendly woman will take your order. Wait until it 's ready and pay up front (cash only- there 's an ATM at the gas station next door . You can 't go wrong here, but the hot pastrami sandwich on wheat with cheese and mustard is to die for. They sell old school Dr Brown 's soda, which is fitting. To 'make it ' on Yelp, you either have to believe in the power of peer reviews and surprise and delight (Rose 's Luxury on Barracks Row does this well or own who you are and don 't give a damn. Deli City is the latter and it works...like five star works."

"Recently my wife and I decided to do what we don’t do often enough, and not many places in the area offer – Tea Time. Yes the Tea and Crumpets scene. We’ve enjoyed fine tea times from the Ritz to Mayflower, but found the Juniper’s restaurant offering at the Fairmont Hotel now a favorite. Their varied offerings of mini sandwiches, teas, attention to detail and elegance enthralling. Their use of fruits and other ingredients are fresh and unique, including their very own fresh honey from a roof top beehive! The environs of their outdoor English-style patio courtyard lends a relaxing mood to the spacious yet comforting seating area inside – we’re going back in the spring to enjoy the outside seating. A formal/informal style, just like sitting in a British estate’s sitting room. Oh, did I mention and incredible, well-versed, knowledgeable and charismatic tea sommelier to boot! Edwin Vargas a sommelier-extraodinaire’s attention alone is worth the visit. A must try whether a seasoned tea timer or a newbie."
