"Ate here on three occasions on a recent holiday in the town having tried it on my first day. The restaurant is about half the way along on the east side opposite the beach, towards the Cerro Gordo. It is a really good addition to the town. We tried the menu del dia each time we went, which at 13 euros is slightly at the more expensive end of the menu del dias available, but so much better than most others in the town,.(It is possible to have a menu del dia from 6 euros locally and the price is not neccesarily any indication of the various standards of the quality of the food. There is also an a la carte menu available which while it is similar to most of the others in the town did seem to have a bit more variety. I look forward to trying this in the future. Here the food is very good. We had beautiful soups, lovely avocados with prawns, crispy croquettes, really tasty chicken with lemon and thyme, and the most amazing lemon mousse that I have ever had. (I had to go back for that alone! The standard of the restaurant, tables, bathroom etc is excellent. A little more effort could be made with the planting at the approach purely to attract the attention it deserves from the street. Being familiar with La Herradura we very quickly recognised the owners and staff as they have worked in so many different places in the town. It turns out that this is a family business and that they have come together in this new enterprise. They were all lovely and the service was excellent on each occasion. I would really recommend visiting. I will cerainly be back on my next visit."

"We have been to L’arrivee in Aguadulce every time we visit the area so we had to make sure give their new location a try! We were SO pleased we can’t say enough about what a great experience we had, not only do they have the great unique tapas from their Aguadulce location, they also added traditional Spanish cuisine!! We tried Migas Fideos today, delicious!!! We loved the service, as always they made us feel at home. We will be sure to come back while we are in Almeria as we found out while having lunch they even have churros chocolate every morning !! Can’t wait to come back ! LOVED LOVED LOVED IT!!"
