"I visited this cozy locale with a Spanish friend and she allowed as how it was pretty durn good. The house red (at 3.90/glass in 11/16) was a wonderful Tempranillo. We combined that with the jamon (good but not spectacular), the aubergine and cheese (cunningly paired with grilled...pear and beautifully presented), the aoli (which was out of this world), the grilled peppers (terrific),the shrimp with tomatoes (good but not repeatable), and the sardines on toast (ditto). The menus are in German and Spanish; the service is good and we had a lovely evening, spending about 20 Euro each and coming away satisfied."

"The mundo is a rediscovery. it was called mundo a few years ago. it finally closed and opened the mokkabar. after not too long the mokkabar also closed and again in the mouth. the new mundo opened approx. 2019. after the reopening we were friends there and have it in good memory. the food was rich and tasty, the service friendly and courteous. it is too long to write an evaluation of this visit. Currently, they can stay on sale over water during the second endless corona locks with the outhouse. we are advertised with delivery or picking up in front of the place. for a delivery we live a little too far away. the pickup remains in front of the square. When we drove past the januar in 2021, I remembered (and my companion, that we wanted to eat here to get. when we were close, we tried today. offered Latin American cuisine, with breakfast, brunch, afternoon coffee and cake as well as a large selection of hot and cold tapas. to normal times they can come here from breakfast to dinner all day. the extensive food and drink card is available on the internet. the prices move in the upper average range. there is a lot to do. we took us in the januar 2021 tapas. they can take them individually or use an offer of 3, 6, or 9 tapas after choice. we decided to offer 6 tapas with bark meatballs in tomatensauce (2x, datteln in speckmantel, fried cheese, homemade croquettes with serrano ham and chorizowurst. there were self-baked broth and a few dives. we received such quantities that we have barely managed to make them two. the tapas were superlecker, so we bravely ate everything: the restaurant is located at the traffic-rich intersection of old mariendorf and mariendorfer damm. there are outdoor places in summer; only it should be quite loud there. in restaurant is huge, here also find groups place. the access takes place via two stages, then in the place everything flatters. it looked inviting. ende januar 2021 takes place a few days renovation work, then the restaurant is closed. the service we had so kindly in memory. at the phone order and later pick up the tapas in the januar 2021 we were welcomed again friendly. with parking it is difficult in the opposite. they can try it in the mariendorfer damm. on the other side of the old mariendorf, in the reißeckstraße, there is a large parking space; this is connected with a short walk. an exit of the u bahnstation alt mariendorf is located directly in front of the door. we can recommend the mundo in normal times for a visit and for the time for the order of the meal. we did not use the delivery service."

"We had received a groupon voucher for shrimp food and we were very pleased to redeem it.Trotz reservation we waited for a short half hour for our table. well, can happen, we thought.The shrimp food is declared as all-you-can-eat; you get a bowl with garnel, there is brot and aioli and you can reorder until you get tired. our drinks came quickly, then nothing came. as our eating the table reached we started eating. the garnels have tasted well, also the brot and the aioli were very delicious. when we asked for more brot and dip, the waitress reacted quite annoyed and left the table without further comment. new brot we got after 20 minutes. also included a cream catalan as dessert. we asked if we could have an espresso instead of the cream. the question was unfriendly. when we wanted to pay the espresso was calculated without comment. to the demand why it was just "don't stop." Of course, the espresso nciht has cost the world, nevertheless we would have liked to get an info.2 point there, however, only because the food itself has tasted good. the service and how is handled in common with guests is a total failure. the service forces are unfriendly, annoyed and give one of the beginning to the feeling, you will just be made. you have the feeling of being a gast interference factor. very bad, because eating was bad.We still went disappointed after home. Pity!"
