"2 for 1 beers (per person) during happy hour period. We enjoyed our beers and the people watching as we sat outside. Waitstaff was attentive and the bar was hopping. Not our favorite fries on the strip, but a good experience overall."

"We stopped here in the evening and had a couple of mojitos. They were delicious with oodles of fresh mint. So, we decided to eat and ordered a light meal and a bottle of wine. This was after we asked for la carte and our waiter nodded affirmatively but didn't give us a menu...but jumped on giving a menu to a young woman customer who arrived after we asked. OK, everybody makes mistakes so we asked again and placed our order in Spanish. Our waiter took the order but nothing happened. Our waiter stood on the sidewalk and hustled young girls going up and down the sidewalk. After 45 minutes, an English speaking staff person came to our table and told us our waiter was afraid of English speakers. Seriously? The English speaking guy was great and told us our waiter had not understood what we wanted. Without telling him what we wanted but nicely asserting that our waiter knew exactly what we wanted, the food and wine appeared. After a month in Argentina with great service, great food, and no language problems, all of a sudden we had this unpleasant experience. In our view, It had nothing to do with a language problem. We just had a waiter who was totally disinterested in serving older people when there were hot chicks on the scene. And, the food was not good either. Skip this place."

"My friend and I enjoyed an amazing meal at Los Chocos last Friday night during our weekend away in Mendoza. It was the start of our trip and could not have set a better stage for a truly memorable weekend. Each course was full of flavor, perfectly paired with a wine or sangria, and obviously prepared with the utmost attention. It is one of the nicest meals I have ever enjoyed and I hope to return some day."

"Our apartment was right over the street, so we went to all great names places for almost 2 weeks. I didn't feel good and that's why we didn't want to go far from our apartment. We wanted pasta. What a find! Great pasta, good wine, good service and at a very low price. I think some of the big names are very overrated. This is a great find. I'd go back any time."

"After steak overload in Argentina, we were looking for a change! As other reviews have mentioned, first impressions of the restaurant are slightly offputting- and we were the only customers there! However the service was fast and the waitress was helpful, even with our basic Spanish. The main dishes with rice were tasty and filling and whilst the ceviche mixto we shared had excellent (spicy) flavouring, the seafood quality wasn't good. Overall a cheap filling meal and a nice change from meat, but not the best meal we had in Mendoza."

"Even for me that have not tried red meat for a ling time ago It was a fabulous experience to eat a parrillada with a botttle of wine. The waiter was so polite and helpful helping me choosing the right type of wine. It was an amazing dinner!!!! If you ever see this place, go inside and eat!!"
