"I used to love this bar. They had excellent and elaborately made drinks and the food was good The last two times have not been good at all. Service is incredibly slow. There were only three people at the bar and it took ten minutes to get my first drink. The octopus fritters were overcooked nearly burned and very dry. Two visits in a row. I used to love these. And the signature drinks were still on the menu but were poorly made. The Billy the Kid is no longer served with burning embers... it was served in a plastic glass. I had this same bad experience during the summer but thought it was an off night. Nope this place has just cascaded downhill. This explains why it has fallen off the Worlds 50 Best Bar list. I’m sad. But, unless you are staying in the hotel, it’s not worth making the trip here based on reading past years’ hype."
