"Colore was a fun new place to try! The food (in one word: RICH bread (bites and balsamic oil are complimentary and a nice touch to start. My entree was the Penne and Spicy Sausage (I subbed the penne for angel hair pasta and they didn't mind the swap . It was good, but the sauce fell a little flat on flavor dimension for me. I preferred the sauce of my husband's Linguine and Prosciutto. All four of us at dinner felt that the food was (somewhat unsurprisingly very heavy and rich, but we all ordered pasta, so makes sense. The atmosphere (in one word: inviting it's not a huge establishment, but it feels comfortable. Even our high top (which I usually avoid had cushiony seats and purse/coat hooks yay! The prices (in one word: average of the handful of (nicer, but not fancy Italian restaurants that we considered, Colore had the most reasonable prices. I think all of our pasta entrees were about $17. Portions were satisfying, 3 of us had leftovers (somewhat due to the richness of the food . The dessert was $9 which seemed very reasonable for a good helping of carrot cake (highly recommend The service (in one word: good enough our waitress did fine, nothing to complain about, but nothing extra special either. She might have been having a hard day, she wasn't especially friendly, but she wasn't rude either. Just checking boxes. But no big deal."

"We had a truly wonderful experience at The Vault Taproom! Our waitress Corinne (hope I spelled this correctly) was absolutely fantastic- so kind, helpful, and just all around cheerful! Being able to taste and pour your own beer was really great and so fun to try what you probably wouldn't have been able to before. This takes some heat off the servers and bartenders-brilliant. Now the food, I had the cauliflower po boy and it was absolutely delicious. My friends had the Kalua Pork Tacos, Smoked Brisket Rueben, and the Chef Smash Burger- we also had the fried green tomatoes that were excellent. We were all highly satisfied with our food and the servings are huge. You shouldn't leave hungry from here. The entire experience was top notch and i highly recommend for a casual night out"

"Very delicious BBQ! I can't believe this was my first time. I have the 2 meat plate with baked beans potato salad. Hubs have baked the same but Pommes beans as the sides. My meat was Brisket Turkey. Turkey was good, but the bride was better!! I liked the sides and the sauce was delicious. You have sweet spicy bbq sauce on the table. My daughter had the sausage-end meal. She thought they were okay, but said too much parmesan. I didn't cost it so I couldn't really evaluate it. My 4 years old had chicken strips, simple, but good. Overall I liked their menu, there were many options! Customer service was great. We will return safely"

"Wow, Big Herm’s Kitchen is a must stop when you’re in Richmond. Best catfish, fried oysters, fried chicken, cornbread and wings in Richmond. We were visiting from out of town and Big Herm treated us like family. Come for amazing food and stay for the “Mayor of 2nd St.’s” hospitality."
