"Super intimate setting. Cocktails were amazing. We had the El Johnny Poncho, a sidecar, El Pelican and the El Vuelve la vida. All the apps had a generic title but had some kind of Mediterranean spin on them and were super delicious. Had the pork and chicken, how they transformed something so common and made it so juicy and tasty shows the talent of the chef. Great place for a date!"

"Not necessarily easy to find. We actually wandered into this place because we had to use the ATM out front - I assume a number of people find it for the same reason. There is an indoor space with an ATM and then a door to a small cozy restaurant called The Beet. It struck us as "a sign!" - because my friend is vegan and this place was advertising Vegan and Organic all over the place. Menu looked tasty so we entered. I had the Half Avocado - it was delicious! It was a half avocado with mixed veggies, rice, avocado bits, bean sprouts and peanut sauce. Everything was SUPER fresh and the combination of ingredients was on point. I am a meat eater but this time decided to get a vegan dish, in the end I had no regrets! (Sign me up?) I also don't usually go for avocado except guac based on texture but this was perfect for me. Rice gave me the texture I wanted. This is a great place for friends who are a combination of vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters to get a fulfilling meal together. (Not always easy). My friend also really enjoyed their dish. Of note is that this place had families (babies and up), students, friends, dates - everything. A well rounded place for any group. They also have these cookies, advertised as being addictive. I implore you to try them! Depending on your diet there are different options. I had the peanut butter with chocolate chip cookie (not vegan) and omg it was delicious. Perfect texture. I'll also add that dressing/sauces are made fresh in house and that they have LLBO! (We made use of that with a pitcher of sangria!) Also extra props to staff. They were fun, friendly, and after I forgot my phone due to Sangria they safely held it for me. The Beet Rocks!"

"First time visit to this burger joint, I think I'm going to find myself there again, I had the big stomp which was very tasty and quite large, the bun is a grilled cheese on either side so ya that's a bonus right there on...its own because really who doesn't like a grilled cheese? However I will not be ordering it again its freaking big even for me, but yet so good, yes it was a little messy the enjoyable kind of messy though, it was big, tasty and very filling. I am looking forward to trying more from there. I think I'm going to try the eggsodus next time. Hopefully that one is really good like better than my egg on burger good. So I gave it a 4/5 and here's why, we also had a regular poutine and to be honest nothing stood out about it nothing separated it from the many others out there just an average poutine, that's the only reason for the 4/5, I'm still going back that's for sure because honestly I don't really care for fries anyway but I had to try."

"Where should I start? .vegan chocolate bars that are better, then the milk versions such as drip butter and snails. the real deal. and all the other delicious sweets on the regals. the individual variety of vegan ice creams. .if I order a pint, it is always the half of 2 different flavors because they are so delicious. the tasty and desserts are unique and mouth water delicious! if I were loved next door, I'd be there for my diners, and I've lived everything on their menu. to my favorites include the delicious vegan pancakes. .the lasagne. the breakfast with pancakes / waffeln. I have not taken any vegans both adults and children and they all loved eating. a friend put the fries and waffle aside and said too much carbohydrates. .then finished eating because it was so delicious. besides the great food you have great personal, which really warm heart! love this place! we look forward to a second location in the city part of Annex/Seaton!"

"Always a tasty breakfast, three eggs, four strips speck, tasty houseries, texas toast, below less cup coffee, $11.00 not bad for the beaches. Come early, about 10 or 11 o'clock, there's a line."

"I need to rehearse a few before they decide what to have. they list a series of very interesting / unique hearty aromas online; the day I was there, there was nothing to go out there, hay and karamell were very interesting and ended with. Blackberry/earth. the rhabarb croissant was a good size, delicious rhabarb filling, but the croissant was not wet at all and soggy. very good!"
