"The taste of the food was between ok and good, nothing special. I had higher expectations after seeing reviews. I ordered a pasta dish with sausage. I guess pasta, sauce and sausage are homemade, but I was disappointed when the dish arrived with 3 small bites of sausage. I ordered a cocktail that arrived weak and mostly with ice in the shape of a juice glass. When the waitress noticed that I drank it in a few sips, I asked for another one, but without ice. What I got was an 8 ounce glass of milk with a dash of Kahlua in it. No way to impress. I just wanted a good drink."

"This was such a fun date night!!!! Been hearing all about the Italian Mondays so we had to try it. The host was super nice and sat us even though we were early for our reservation!! "Hi everyone, I have been going to Black eyed pea since I was a baby. This place holds a special part in my heart full of lots of fun memories and even sad songs. And including the wonderful tasty yummy meals. My favorite meal I used to order I usually called it “Taylor’s Traditional Meal”. Which served the best crispy chicken tenders and crispy delicious fries with an additional side of broccoli rice casserole. I have to say this place cooked the best home made dinner meals. But Sadly to say, they are closing and this place will forever be missed so thank you for a wonderful experience and your time. -T"
