"General: The new opening of the Staatsoperette Dresden in the new house in the former power plant in Mitte and the corresponding opening gala prompted us to test the Dresden gastronomy again in the first week of January. After a spectacular afternoon in the operetta, where all the technical possibilities of the new house and the entire genre and ensemble were shown, we went to the outskirts of Dresden. In Dresden Bühlau the “Trompeter” and the “Hubertusgarten” are quite close together. We had ordered a table by phone one day before in the trumpeter, and the Hubertusgarten comes to a next cultural event in Dresden. Ambience: The restaurant Trompeter is a historic house, which was built from an old post station Anno 1725) and was developed around 1870 as a bargain economy. The inn had its significance as an extension for travellers and businessmen, on the old trading street, today's Bautzner Landstraße, the Bundesstraße 6 towards Bautzen. The name Trompeter probably originated from the signal that the postal carriages gave in time before arrival at the post station to organize a fast horse change. Today, nothing indicates a change of horses, but there are plenty of places available for the strong horse carriages from today before and next to the house. The interior of the house today consists of several different guest rooms, guestrooms, all designed in rustic, old German style. On the walls convulsions and pictures of hunting, guest room with swab arches but also all kinds of utensils from the previous post carriage period. In the corner an old piano, the counter made of solid wood. Guest room with old piano The old round arches as well as the wooden beam ceiling are preserved as well as old brick wall pieces. The furniture also rustic, the chairs-something in need of reconciliation-with bas. In the long run it became a bit unpleasant to the popo. Operation: Three young ladies throw the shop and swirl eagerly around. The menus were on the table after one minute and also the beverage order should be delivered immediately. But I'd like to have read what there is... After we had studied the map, the order went forward quickly. The dishes were brought to the table by all three ladies at the same time, one was friendly but the certain something was missing. It was a cool atmosphere, there was a short answer to questions and disappeared again. Even my wife's complaint was sealed off quite lapidar. Too bad. Food: The rich menu is also up-to-date on the Internet [here link] )visible. We chose as beverages 0.5ér Hacker Pschorr Kellerbier for 3,90 €, a 0.5ér Hacker Pschorr Kellerbier for 3,90 €, I took as driver a soft 0.5ér Paulaner Hefe Weißbier for 3,90 € alcohol-free 0.5ér Paulaner Hefe Weißbier for 3,90 €, the ladies chose a 0.25ér water for each Golden Guardian Edition As appetizers we chose three times the Dunkle Wildsuppe from the deer and wild boar with house bread at 5,50 € each, as well as a spicy meat from the landhuhn with cheese and house bread for 5,50 €. As main dishes, we chose a steak garlic sheep cheese delicate pork steaks with plenty of garlic and sheep cheese, with frying potatoes and a small salad) for €14.90, once the matjes fillet was ordered to housewives with apples, acidic cucumber and onions with frying potatoes for €11.20 On the demand of my wife, as a supplement, there was unfortunately only a grouped “Now there are the potato columns there”. Sorry, you couldn't find it in the menu. Well, we're looking forward to...... after ordering, we took a sip of our drinks, the ladies wanted to go straight to the in-house ceramics department, as the appetizers already come. Oh, not even five minutes. Okay, the soup is warm in a big pot, but the sausage meat? There was clearly the microwave in the game. Dark wild soup from deer and wild boar with home bread at 5,50 € The dark wild soup from deer and wild boar with home bread was plentiful with meat from the wild, champions from the can and some vegetables rounded off the soup. From the consistency rather thin, a little more susceptibility I would have wished. Tasteful but good. The rich bread could also have been from the discounter around the corner-house bread-naja, but everyone is different. Seasonal meat with cheese and bread for 5.50 € Seasonal meat with cheese and home bread was so fine, nothing special. The meat soft-natural chicken-the cheese draws nicely, some parsley and a lemon round off the whole. In our opinion, the dark bread did not fit. Nearly 20 minutes after our order, we had just eradicated the appetizers, even the main dishes came. Oha-that went fast-actually too fast? Steak garlic sheep's cheese delicate pork steaks with plenty of garlic and sheep's cheese baked, with roast potatoes and a small salad) for 14.90 € My steak garlic sheep's cheese delicate pork steaks with plenty of garlic and sheep's cheese baked, with roast potatoes and a small salad) were two delicate and juicy pork steaks, plentiful pork steaks At the second steak one had only the sharp garlic taste in the mouth. Too bad. Bratkartoffeln-na that was sometimes nix-some burned bacon, in between small crumbs of onion, all relatively unworn. The potatoes that seemed like the potatoes were from the day before. Kross-Fehlanzeige! On the outside, slightly fried, on the inside pappy soft. Only the fresh salad with light dressing was good. Matjesfilet by housewife type with apples, acidic cucumber and onions with roast potatoes for 11,20 € Matjesfilet by housewife type with apples, acidic cucumber and onions with roasted potatoes was well seasoned. A little onion, little cubes of acidic cucumber and even less apples were to be seen. The dressing for this very plentiful, some red herb rounded off the supplement. The roast potatoes are the same misery as my garlic steak. Delicate beef tongue on butter and potatoes for €12.90 The tender beef tongue on butter and potatoes were five slices of very delicate beef tongue. As a supplement to this three small salt potatoes, a bunch of peas from the Convience bag as well as a small stick of crushed butter. Luckily there was an appetizer before that said a 50-year-old woman! Filled chicken breast fillet with sheep cheese-fine created with tomatoes, rocket, herbs and garlic on paprika vegetables for 11,90 € Filled chicken breast fillet with sheep cheese-fine created with tomatoes, rocket, herbs and garlic on my wife's belly vegetables, with plenty of sweet potatoes. The chicken breast fillet was filled with cheese, tender and juicy, pleasantly seasoned. In the middle of that, my wife found a late zle-ja where did they come from? There's only one dish with cheese parrots in the restaurant. On the question to the waitress, as the late zle could get lost to the plate, the lapidare answer came shortly later: “The cook also does not know how it comes”. I think this is a lack of cleanliness in the kitchen? Here, the same pans are used for several dishes without thoroughly purifying in between? The answer was, of course, more than unsatisfactory for us. An apology did not exist...... Cleanliness: the guest rooms as well as the toilets were neat. Result: We had hoped for more from the service. The dishes left to be desired throughout the whole program. Shade-the ambience promised more."

"Through our overnight stay in Villa Altenburg the further arrival in Dresden was entertaining and relaxed! Beautiful new roads, small construction sites. Soli was well invested. Pillnitz with the beautiful castle garden, including the more than 230 years old Kamelie, is our destination. We'll arrive at noon. Baggage stolen, first visit to the castle park. On the way back, the park café looks inviting. We are the only guests in the well maintained beer garden. It's probably the famous boss who serves here and gives us the cards. This is good, not overloaded and varied. The day offers can be read on tables. I like the daily offer with wild goulash, knödeln and red herbs, but I am too lush at noon. Regional dishes are not too short. The meat dishes ovine, pork roasts, sour roasts, beef tongues) are dishes that we do not find so often on the map. Not our favorite, but yet positively noticed. For thirst I order a large dry wine choir € 3,40) and my husband a pilgrim, 0.5 l € 3,30). The drinks are served quickly and well cooled. For our lunch we also decided and ordered: My husband chooses the coveted potato vegetables up to €9.30. And I spaghetti aglio e olio with tomatoes, garlic, rocket, parmesan € 9.40. After some considerations we decide to go to the restaurant. It's still dry, but the wind blowers are getting cooler. For a drink okay, but our food is probably too cold. And I can't suffer at all. We move into the well maintained room and make us noticeable about the riches in the kitchen. Here the cook cuts pumpkin from a nice piece of pig comb! Later grandparents with grandchildren receive gold-yellow carvings and praised them very much. Many wood, beautiful old pictures, comfortable seating, fresh flowers on the tables. This is not “Hipp” here, so you feel comfortable. Cosy and well maintained. Toilets were not visited. After a pleasant waiting time comes our food, nice hot! The vegetable run-up with potatoes plentiful and with lots of cheese. He would have worn a golden yellow tan. But very juicy, the vegetables partially frozen peas, carrots) of good quality. Clear. With the lush part you can not milk and it tastes good. My pasta beautiful al dente and beautifully decorated up. Spaghetti aglio e olio Ok, among others with cut salmon, in German. It doesn't bother me as a lover of fresh herbs. The rocket and fresh tomatoes are hidden under the spaghetti, not hard, but slightly cooked during the “rolling” of the pasta and therefore very aromatic. It tasted good, the part also not crispy. I missed a little Pepp Chili. We want to see a little more so we order the bill quickly and are very friendly. For our lunch time it was very good here."

"Every year, better said every two years again, it strikes me into the Dresdner DRK office on the Klingerstraße for training as a first aider. Here in the DRK Center, next to the fire station 2 and the control center of the fire department Dresden, various first aid seminars are offered by the DRK. Seminars, or trainings make hungry, and demand a lot of coffee. So the catering of the participants should also be adequately secured. For many years there has been a small bistro here for the catering of the students and the staff of the DRK. I have experienced some changes in the operator, and depending on how delicious the food was, or just not, so was the operating time of the Bistros. Now it has got a new name, and now the bistro “Zum kleine Hunger” is also open to customers who go shopping in the neighboring large markets, or are on their way here. Entrance to the bistro operations, the bistro “Zum kleine Hunger” is now from the team of the Niederwartha ferry house and promises a daily changing daily ticket and also solid foods such as pasta with tomato sauce or the classic carving. Prices are up-to-date and range from 5 to 7 euros, the pot of fresh coffee is available for a euro. Breakfast is served with sandwiches. We as a DRK course participant had the advantage that there was a 1-Euro voucher for lunch for us. Today there was a selection of chickens with rice and vegetables, a meat egg with salt potatoes and mixed vegetables, as well as the daily dishes mentioned above. I opted for the meat-frikadelle with mixed vegetables and salt potatoes for € 6.50, minus the voucher I only had to pay € 5.50. Whether the dishes are freshly prepared here I don't know, I suspect that they are cooked in the ferry house, and then they are separated from the warm-up containers. The sprinkled as well as the great affie were good, self-made home cooking, as I would expect in the ferry house. The affie was neatly big, the meatman definitely won in front of the baker, that is, it was neatly chopped and onion in the affie. The meatballs are spicy, with a self-mixed vegetables of corn, peas and carrots. Those ingredients are safe from the big market, everyone will be able to hurt at a bistro. The salt potatoes, on the other hand, were home cooked, definitely not finished. However, at the sauce of the ready-to-powder flavor, unfortunately, it was very intense. Meat fruits with mixed vegetables and salt potatoes for € 6.50 The students who had opted for the skeleton were also very satisfied. The rice grainy, the sprinkled plentiful, well roasted and well seasoned. Thanks to the cozy bistro atmosphere with padded benches and chairs, coloured in the green tone, the seminar breaks can be held very well here. And before you eat in the adjacent garden market, you can also eat well for a few valleys. Hopefully, the team of the ferry station Niederwartha is still at the start in two years when I have to get back to the first aid training. And I can only recommend it to my colleagues. Bistro My conclusion: I left adequate 5.50 euros for a good lunch in the bistro, and the first aid measures could be mastered well in the afternoon."
