"Good cafe style outdoor and indoor seating with ambitious fish cooking very close to the small marina and a couple of kilometers from the beach and camp site. Not really a fish bar despite the name and Rude is only the name of the nearby town, not the nature of the place, fortunately! My understanding is that this is a family run fish cafe associated with the excellent local fishmonger and organic fish farm, whose products you can also buy from the stall at the marina a few feet away. Opening hours seem to be pretty limited, may be weekends only, call to check as this is a little off the beaten track but well worth the short detour. House chardonnay unoaked and very pleasant and cheap. We had the fish soup and the pan fried haddock, respectively, and all was excellently prepared. The price quality ratio is very good. Most expensive dishes on the menu come with a price tag of 13 pounds, which is astonishingly good value for Denmark."
