"I took my mother to this pub recently and we both agreed it was great. When I asked about accessibility the person on the phone was very helpful and offered to reserve a convenient parking space. The pub itself is very nice inside, well presented and has a good ambience. The service was first class, friendly and attentive without ever being intrusive. The menu featured several tempting offerings; we both settled for sea bass, which was perfectly cooked. If I want to be picky the broccoli cauli were a bit on the soft side for me, but that's personal preference and it didn't spoil my enjoyment. And then the big test....the syrup sponge with custard. Would there be a proper amount of custard or just a tiny little poxy pot on the side? I'm happy to report that this was a slam dunk, and I found myself eagerly facing a sponge island in the middle of a sea of custard....outstanding!"

"Beautiful location for a walk along the river. service friendly, but busy, so sometimes had to ask for or ask for dingen. overall pleasant. restrooms could work with a deep clean and maintenance, as some of the more sluts do not work! from the 22nd mai return for delicious food. we sat outside looking at the themse that was beautiful. I had roasted beef gummy. service friendly and fast"

"We have had fish and chips before from Scotts and it has been good but tonight was terrible. The plaice I had was covered in soggy uncooked batter, was not very large and lots of black skin (which I do not like), the chips were 'mush ' and the curry sauce felt watered down. I also did not want salt and vinegar but my portion of chips had salt and vinegar on. My partner was not happy with the large haddock either said the fish tasted 'old '. Will try the other place next time an expensive mistake. ."

"Just what we needed. We try to go here once every few months and it never disappoints. First meal out in months and we left smiling. Lovely food that is deceptively simple. Flavours and seasoning absolutely on point. Very polite and professional serving staff. Covid...secure, clean and tidy. Banging cheesecake. Posh roast chicken with bread sauce! Ham hock fritters. Heaven in the home counties..."
