"Awesome yum Cha served here. Love coming here to get away from the chaos downstairs. People pushing, waiting for a table, ordering precooked seafood... not here. This yumcha is delicious. The prawn dumplings are awesome with nice chunky bits of fresh prawn. Noodles were tasty and our salt and pepper crab was steaming hot, full and yum. They have live tanks for ordering seafood too. Everything was a pleasure. This is mine and mums treat place. Love it when we come. Would have to be one of the best yum chat quality food places around."

"Gallon is my local wine bar. In my opinion this rustic wine bar is comparable to Europe's best bars. It's exposed sandstone walls, striking art deco lighting and moody ambience reflect Pyrmont's historical past. Each section inside has a name and I'm usually in the Sun Room or the Stables Bar. In true Aussie style it's typically relaxed and casual. Their kitchen has served consistantly good food since it opened. I recommend the wood fired Pizza's you can't go wrong there and they're great for sharing. They have a great wine list and beer on tap. I have been coming here for many years, it's a favourite."

"Terrible, this was the worst Pizza I have ever tasted. Even worse than those cheap frozen pizzas you pick up in the supermarket and reheat. Dry and tasteless. Same goes for the garlic bread. Overlooked cardboard.Normally I love Crust, we have a great outlet next door to us in Broadbeach on the GC but this experience has really put me off. Where is the QC?"

"Ni Hao is a little Chinese restaurant on Harris Street in Pyrmont. The main impression we had of the Ni Hao is that they need to work a lot harder on their service. Our table was wiped down with an incredibly smelly, unclean cloth and left sopping wet, so we were treated to wet elbows and a dirty sock smell before we even ordered. I wiped it down with a few paper towels just to get rid of the smell. Our first main dish came out before the appetiser with no chopsticks, bowls or plates. We sat and looked at it for a good 5 minutes and finally flagged down a waitress to get something to eat it with. It was a beef and broccoli dish which was quite good. Then the appetiser came out. It was our spring rolls - scorching hot and absolutely dripping with oil. We couldn't handle them for about 10 minutes they were so hot. Then after waiting about 30 minutes we had to inquire about our third dish, a salt and pepper seafood dish. It was lost in space. Nevertheless once an APB was issued, it was produced rather quickly. It turned out to be a very bland, batter fried seafood plate without the signature 'salt and pepper' flavour. More work is needed to train wait-staff on proper clean-up, table setting and the order that food is presented."
