"This is a local Chinese restaurant located in a strip mall with lots of regulars. It's nothing fancy, but good solid food. We always know we'll be happy and full. Prices are good and reasonable. I've been to this restaurant with extended family at least 4 times and I'm sure we'll be back."

"Despite working in the TD centre, I have only recently made it to Bymark for lunch. I'm not sure what I was expecting but I have been pleasantly surprised with my visits on two occasions. The service was both pleasant and prompt. The food made it to the table in a very acceptable, even speedy amount of time. I also very much like the vibe in the lower portion of the restaurant, think low lighting with a warm glow in the room. On my first visit, I ordered the lobster grilled cheese sandwich and it was absolutely decadent and delicious. Large chunks of Atlantic lobster, melting gooey brie cheese, pancetta and a perfectly crisp and crunchy buttered brioche bread....just perfection. Be warned, this sandwich is very rich. My colleague had the veal schnitzel which was huge and served with greens and capers on top. It was also very good.Second visit, I decided to get what has been referred to as "the most expensive burger in Toronto". For $38 you get an 8oz burger topped with brie, shaved truffles and mushrooms. You can choose a side of fries, onion rings or greens and in this instance I went with the greens so I could get through the afternoon! So what can I say about the burger? Medium rare, juicy, we'll seasoned, melted brie (this can never be bad) and the permeating truffle...mmm worth every penny. I won't be making this a regular lunch by any means but if you want to splurge out, you will not be disappointed. My colleague had the fogo island tempura cod, which she said was also excellent. I'll have to get around to going for dinner here one day but if you are looking for a business lunch spot in the financial district, highly recommend Bymark."

"3.5. Classic Chinese spot with good late night food. The spicy, crispy beef is the best. Get the shrimp dumplings instead of the pork. The black bean tofu/ eggplant is classic and great."

"I have been to this restaurant over 20 plus years when still working at downtown. After retired, whenever go to downtown, always go there and eat!! Until 2020 March the whole world turned upside down!! Have not been eaten out since then!! Today is the...first time eat out and travel from city north to House of Gourmet! They checked my vaccination identity card (LIKE!! . They have special menu everyday for $9.50. Today is BBQ duck Soy sauce chicken with veggie, daily soup and coffee or tea. I must say it was a good meal consider the food cost nowadays! The servers are pleasant and I can feel they are happy in their job. Add oil, House of Gourmet!"
