"I was in Coney Island from Nov 5-8. I ate at Surf City twice. Food was the best during my visit. Super friendly staff. The young ponytailed bartender was great and very welcoming. I had the grilled shrimp pasta and the green salad. Both were very tasty"

"What a shame this place could be great being so close to Barclays. Kitchen over whelmed. We saw countless meals being sent back to the kitchen. We didn't even get our main course and had to ask for the check. We will not be returning."

"Must say that we really felt like Bay Ridge regulars from the moment we arrived and were greeted enthusiastically to as we left when the Executive Chef, Anthony Rinaldi, invited us to join the party at the bar for some champagne and cheer. They’ve just moved to new digs and they have created a very hospitable place – kind of like “Boston Cheers” meets “Bay Ridge Pearl Room.” The food and drink were good – delicious blue point oysters, well-prepared martinis, a classic wedge salad followed by Penne a la Vodka with Chicken and Ginger lime shrimp. A stop at the Pearl Room is a little bit of Manhattan with a clearly Brooklyn vibe."
