"By all means this is a good place to go. Pasta was excellent and the wine selection (while being small) wasn't junk wine so it was enjoyable. The pizza is alright, but is not authentic NYC pizza. If that's what you're looking for, look somewhere else."

"Decided to stop by here due to the great review from Barstool/One Bite guy. I ordered the penne a la vodka, and I got a half pie. The food was pretty good not the best I have had. I still do recommend eating here. The pizza sauce was a bit too sweet formy liking but it was a square think crispy and saucy pizza. The penne was also tasty. Was a little disappointed that they didnot offer any house/complimentary bread. but nice atmosphere quiet and intimate. 4.5 stars"

"I haven't been to Via Italia in about 10 years (went there last when I worked midtown) and while I was looking for a restaurant post Broadway matinee, I thought of Via Italia and was happy to see it was still in its current location. I loved the food then and I loved it now. The restaurant was quiet, the food was wonderful and will definitely be back again."
