"Where’s the meat??? Ok I used to love coming into this little Italy deli and get the best customer service from everyone. Lately since after Covid most of the employees are gone and the new hires don’t interact well with others. Every time I have entered the guys seem like they are a deer in headlights and don’t know what to do. But besides that they used to have the best hot food and made the most amazing sandwiches. Now everything has gone down and the prices are sky rocketing. The few times I went in I have gotten some hot food of chicken franchese and pasta that they charged $16 for a piece of chicken and a scoop of pasta.. Really!! So then the next time I decided to get a sandwich just some ham and salami on a roll with mayo and that was $11 with hardly any meat at all. Seriously where’s the meat? The last time I got lunch I figured I’ll just get some chicken cutlets that shouldn’t be expensive. Well guess what 2 small pieces of chicken cutlets where still $10 and they were so tiny it shouldn’t have been more then $6. Plus the chicken was so hard that I couldn’t even eat it. Sorry but I won’t be returning to this establishment."

"The Slice of Bay Shore has absolutely delicious food!! It has such a welcoming atmosphere. We had Shrimp Oregenato and Chicken Marsala. Both dishes were cooked for perfection. The dessert tiramisu was also delicious. I recommend the slice to anyone looking for a delicious meal in a casual atmosphere! Bravo!"

"I've been eating Gios pizza since years ago when he worked at Mama Santina. I followed him to his new restaurant, Slice of Bayshore. Great business man, personable and awesome food. For unknown reasons the other partners foolishly told Gio he was no longer needed. Being the brains and face of The Slice, I know he'll excel at his next opportunity. I will take my appetite elsewhere until Gio resurfaces again. I wish The Slice well, but without Gios vision and supporting his staff it may be a difficult task. Terry Rally."
