"Disappointing. I remember when Lost Dog Cafe opened in a remodeled gas station about 30 years ago. Back then, it was the first hip coffee shop, then restaurant in Binghamton. I attended a number of memorable poetry slams there. I looked forward to dropping into the Lost Dog for the first time in decades. Unfortunately, my sesame rice noodle bowl was drenched in sauce and the sauce itself contained too much soy. There was no sesame flavor whatsoever. The lettuce at the bottom of the bowl was wilted and dripping. The cucumbers were limp and soaked. My dining partner had the pulled pork sandwich, which was just OK. I don't make it back to Binghamton much (this was the first time in 25 years), so this was a letdown."

"Some options are a hit and some are a miss. I added tofu to a dish, barely seasoned and cost a good amount more to add as protein option. The quinoa burger was on point. Depends on who’s cooking. Some cooks take the time and other just slop it together."
