"We learned Chstrs (pronounced Cheesters) had opened a branch in the hotel zone. There are 4 others in downtown Cancun. It is decorated in a very colorful Mexican funky decor, quite pleasant to enjoy. Our server, OMAR, spoke extremely good English and gave us outstanding service. There is a nice view of the lagoon from upstairs. Parking is quite limited. Entrees are about 280-300 pesos ($15-17USD), wine about $5 a glass and beer about $3.......but one entree will easily feed 2 if not 3 people. I would say the food was average to good, not great, but this is a fun place, not fine dining. There is actually an authentic Italian pizza oven in the kitchen . Good place for families or couples. Not romantic. Just fun. Ask for Omar."

"We ate here a few times for dinner and twice for breakfast and lunch, as their normal buffet restaurant was closed for rebuilding. the dinner was good, we asked for a special dinner that wasn't on the menu. rack of lamb, the miguel. the maitre d liked to have ordered for us at our next visit! josue, our waiter could not have been more attentive and/or more honorable! we were greeted in the next night by the employees enthusiastically and had an unforgettable rack of lamb cooked to perfection! kudos to the chef and the manager miguel and our favorite waiter josue!"

"Ya había ido en otra ocasión y todo estuvo muy bien, sin embargo esta vez, fui con 3 amigos mas, ordené una pizza chilorio (la cual me dijeron que era su especialidad, sin embargo dejo mucho a desear) y mis amigos una pizza de peperoni, la comida un tanto insípida, ademas de que las pizzas llegaron frías a la mesa, esperamos mucho tiempo para que la comida sea llevada a la mesa, aunque si nos advirtieron que tardaría porque los platillos son artesanales, de tomar pedí un mojito de frutos rojos, el cual estuvo delicioso, pero que también tardo mucho en llegar como el resto de las bebidas que ordenamos, la mesera parecía perdida; empezó a atendernos una, que de repente se fue y nos atendió otra, a la cual en repetidas ocasiones tuvimos que recordarle la orden, nunca nos trajo la salsa inglesa que le pedimos para la pizza, tuvimos que pararnos a buscarla, y creo que a unos de mis amigos jamas le llego la limonada que pidió... el cheff por otra parte se veía muy entusiasta, también salió a atendernos, muy amable; estaba solo en la cocina, y había bastantita gente como para que estuviera solo atendiendo las ordenes y sin ayuda. El precio es bastante accesible e incluso nos hicieron descuento, pero no supe porque, el lugar es bonito, aunque le hace falta iluminación y un letrero mas grande porque no es tan fácil de reconocer."
