"I am sad to say our experience was not that great.. we had a hard time being able to order.. and after we did it took 45 minutes to receive our food.. and it was busy and a lot of dirty tables but if they are short staffed the owner should have a look at that.. Needs a little. TLC"

"Our 5 year old grandson said “ This dinner is delicious” . Thank you again to the Lodge Hotel !! Exceptional!! service and delicious food !! We got the train from Portrush and the hotel is a short 15 minute stroll away from Coleraine train station. Joan from the lodge seated us in the quieter bar area as one of our grandsons is autistic. We were able to order him plain penne pasta which they cooled down ,suggesting to close the door in case he runs out and providing us with a plastic container so he could eat his food. It’s really is more than going extra mile. The chef at the lunch carvery is always so friendly and helpful. There’s a great selection of food to choose from , carvery or order off the menu , generous portions and well priced . It’s always busy when we visit and a great atmosphere. Thank you again to the Lodge!! Exceptional every visit !!"

"Ordered a kebab and pasta. The kebab was fine and tasted good. The pasta however was completely bland and tasteless. It was chicken penne and the sauce has absolutely NO flavour whatsoever and had not been thickened. It was the most watery bland pasta I have ever tasted. There was literally no seasoning it in it, it was just chicken in white water. Disappointed to say the least we felt absolutely robbed with the pasta, not what I would expect from an Italian style takeaway."
