"The food was amazing and lots of different choices from Fortes as well as similar ones. There may have only been short staffed, but she was amazing and helpful and friendly, but she needed more help as she was having to zip back and for with orders and coming back with them too."

"We turned up on the off chance and were able to sneak a table in the dining area. Staff very friendly and service was prompt. The menu catered for many tastes and when our food arrived it was well presented and tasted excellent. Everybody was very happy with their orders and plates were cleaned! For two courses with sides and drinks we paid £30 per head, which was good value. Would thoroughly recommend, though definitely worth booking first."

"I usually stay here when I visit North Wales. Betws-Y-Coed is a beautiful little place and Y Stablau is in a great location as part of the Royal Oak. The rooms are clean, warm and comfortable. The food in The Stables is fairly typical pub food but that’s fine. The portions are generous, the service is prompt and the staff are friendly. There’s a good range of drinks too. It’s a good place and I recommend it Rooms: 4 Service: 4 Location: 5"
