"We enjoyed Alessandro, our waiter who speaks 5 languages and grew up in Florence. We could not see if there was actually cream in the chickpea soup. But we ordered the ribolleta, pappa al pomodoro and a pasta with spicy tomato sauce. I was concerned that the flavors would be too similar, but they were 3 very different flavor profiles, very filling and tasty. With 2 glasses of wine and bottle of soda water it was quite cheap. Saw outside. There were 2 floating nightclubs with loud music over the street, but we enjoyed watching people. Not many other options on the menu, but we really enjoyed what we had."

"Excellent authentic Italian ! We had pasta with red sauce, pasta with mushroom sauce Delicious! The desserts were very good lemon sorbet and tiramisu. It was hard to get a reservation anywhere, so we tried this randomly . It was excellent !!"

"Found this restaurant recommended in my guidebook. It was a good location not too far from the Palazzo Strozzi. The wait staff was very friendly. The food was pretty delicious and at affordable prices. I appreciated that it did not feel like an overly touristy restaurant in term of its ambiance. I very much enjoyed my seafood salad as an appetizer. The halfmoon ravioli with burrata and shrimp was good though perhaps not as flavorful as I expected it to be. I heard some of the diners next to me said it was their 2nd or 3rd time back during their stay. I definitely would return to this restaurnat too!"

"The BEST food you will find in Florence. Everything was perfect. The staff was super friendly and spoke English pretty well. They have many Glueten free options including pizza and pasta and even baked dough balls (gf) which is almost impossible for my Wife to find in the states.
