"Caravelle offers a big variety of Italian dishes which are freshly prepared. Swiss and standard dishes are available too. I can recommend the Penne Caravelle with tendre veal and a creamy tomatoe sauce seasoned with cognac. Also tasty is the fried seabass fillet served with a creamy risotto and fresh vegetables. The staff is friendly, helpful and very fast. The clientele varies from families to couples to friends groups. A nice mix."

"The staff was so nice and friendly, and even though we had to wait a little (the restaurant was very crowded), they apologized for it and the quality of our meals was worth the wait. We’ll remember this place for our next trip to Lucerne."

"Valentino cute restaurant. The manager/owner/waiter was super I believe he was the only one serving, and did an excellent job very attentive and quick. Food was good many options besides pizza. A little pricey, although I guess everything in Luzerne is...pricey family of 4 dinner came to 185.30 although the bottle of wine was 52.00 so maybe not so bad. Would recommend and return."

"We had four amazing meals here, including the Calzone, a gluten-free pizza (Amüsante Kruste! and Ravioli. It started to rain, so the Hostess Manager recommended that we eat inside and she was right because it started pouring! But if the weather is good, the outside seats are wonderful."

"Very average food. Most impolite and rude staff. They were not happy to seat us in spite of having vacant tables. On insisting they gave table next to the toilet. We refused to sit there so unwillingly gave another table. The staff saw us waiting...to order but would not come to our table. Finally One guy came and took the order with literally no chance for us to ask any questions but just order. We wanted to order some more but the guy said he was busy and we were not the only ones. Asked us to wait again. When we got up and said we were leaving they threatened to call the cops as we had already ordered. Finally I lost my patience and shouted at them for being racist . He then got frightened and said it’s not my fault and it was the other guy… etc etc. Horrible experience. Don’t know what makes them act so pricey… with an absolute average ambience with construction work going on the outside and the food also not so great. Absolutely avoidable! No one in Switzerland has ever behaved like this!"
