"I went here for dinner and I was surprised to find that behind the dull setting in the restaurant there was excellent food. Everyone at the table had pasta, I highly recommend the tagliatelle alla gorgonzola and the tagliatelle ai funghi porcini, one of the best I had so far. The service is excellent, the general atmosphere is that of a typical italian family restaurant. What was truly amazing that the place filled up mostly with locals, so that, by 8:30pm, you could barely find a free table. So, in not so many words, if you want to try a delicious italian meal, this is the place to go."

"I've known the Fellini for a long time, but I haven't visited the restaurant in Rotenbergstraße for a long time. I remember the delicious pasta dishes. And so, after a small city stroll, it should go to the small Italian restaurant in the Nauwieser district. As the name suggests, the name of the restaurant is the famous Italian film director Federico Fellini. As a result, a series of photos showing the stars from the most famous stripes of the filmmaker can be seen on the walls of the local. The furnishings in the Fellini are modern, everything gives a neat, tidy impression. During our visit there is a nice addition to the standard card with some seasonal dishes, many with pifferlings (e.g. a variant with rabbit). As I mentioned earlier, however, today I want to return to a typical Italian pasta and in front of the Bruscetta, especially lush in the Fellini. After a pleasant waiting period, these are served by the attentive lady in the service for two people on a large plate for my accompaniment and me. The typical Italian appetizer consists of slightly roasted white bread slices with a freshly prepared tomato cube (in Fellini the cores were removed beforehand), olive oil and fresh basil. A dish that lives from its ingredients and does not disappoint us today. As a main dish, my accompaniment chooses a lambsugo for almost 14, Euro and I myself enjoyed the penne with tomatoes, capers, spring onions, anchovies and garlic at 9, Euro. Both dishes are well tasted and live as well as the appetizers of fresh ingredients. Only the pasta used in these variants is not freshly produced in the Fellini, but this is justified by a fair price calculation. The portions are very neat and so you can speak of a good price pleasure ratio. To the main course we drink an open merlot and a large bottle of water, there was once a campari orange and a house aperitif consisting of crémant, strawberries and fresh mint. The service at Fellini works on this early evening routined and attentive, although the small restaurant is almost full after an hour. We are obviously not the only guests who appreciate the solid kitchen performance in the Nauwieser district. The Fellini certainly does not have the right to want to be Saarbrücken's Nobelitaliener, it rather impresses with properly prepared dishes at fair prices."

"Wer zum ersten Mal ins La Finca zum Mittagessen geht, muss sich auf eine Überraschung gefasst machen (falls er nicht diesen Review gelesen hat): Spanische Küche gibt es dort nämlich nur abends, was angesichts des Namens und der überaus iberischen Dekoration etwas verwunderlich ist. Mittags hingegen geht es regional völlig ungebunden zu. Als wir da waren, standen fünf Tellergerichte zur Wahl, die alle gut schmeckten; keine kulinarischen Sensationen, aber das darf man für unter 10 Euro auch nicht erwarten. Der Allgemeinverträglichkeit zuliebe wurde auf zu kräftiges Würzen verzichtet - mir hat zum Beispiel beim mexikanischen Burrito der Cilantro gefehlt, was viele andere (meine Frau zum Beispiel) ja durchaus begrüßen. Ähnlich mild war die sahnige Fischpfanne, während die ebenso sahnigen Penne mit Hühnerbrust etwas versalzen waren. Auf jeden Fall glaube ich, dass das Management gut beraten wäre, auch mittags wenigstens ein oder zwei spanische Gerichte anzubieten, um verwunderten Gästen wie mir vorzubeugen.So hat alles gut geschmeckt, ohne aufregend zu sein, gereicht hat es auch, somit ist La Finca eine gute Adresse, um mittags günstig satt zu werden. Nächstes Mal werden wir allerdings abends hingehen, um mal Tapas & Co. zu probieren und zu herauszufinden, ob in der Küche dann etwas mutiger ans Werk gegangen wird."

"Conviendra très bien au petit budget qui souhaite manger copieusement à bas prix et surtout avec des produits frais... Nous avons à peu près tout goûter sur la carte des pâtes au pizza en passant par les indémodables shnitzel, nous n avons jamais été déçues... vivement la prochaine sortie shopping à saarbrucken !!!"
