"Before Covid lockdown whenever we go to Pondicherry, we go to this restaurant for it's tasty mutton biriyani, though the restaurant is congested and doesn't have a good ambience. After the opening up of cities, I went to this restaurant yesterday (21 April 2022) and had a very bad experience. The place is dirtier, biriyani tasted like tomato rice and most awfully, there was only one person who wipes, cleans tables and brings biriyanis without washing hands!! That was disgusting. Once I noticed it, I came out immediately. Is appointing a table cleaner is very expensive in Pondicherry? Horrible experience. If you don't want to catch diseases, please don't go there. If you don't believe me, you can still go and check their cleanliness, washbasin area etc."

"We were four for a buffet. The buffet menu was good, but all bowls were empty. When they are asked, they say we will serve in table. But they don't. We feel circumcised to ask for food. Never try to visit this place again. If you have excess money. You can throw it here and feed it in a better place."

"I am sure running a restaurant and being in this business is not easy and it brings lots of uncertainties. This is why I don't understand the passiveness of the people who run some of the places. <br>
Maybe food here is not so bad. But when you enter the place it is so shabby and dirty that I actually wanted to turn around. Only because I was embarrassed to make it so obvious, I remained and said to myself to try at least one dish. If the places visible to the customer (including the staff) is kept in such condition, you don't wanna think what is on the other side of the wall and that for sure doesn't boost your appetite. <br>
Ordered mushroom manchurian which i can't really rate properly, as the before-mentioned condition of the restaurant was really putting me off. IT seemed a bit on the sweet side, which I didn't notice in other places where i had it. Rarely I like the sweetness in savoury dishes and also here the taste didn't work out. It also had a lot of pepper, I'd prefer less of that and more of the mushrooms. <br>

If they to start with just repainting the filthy walls and clear up the old boxes that make it look like you are sitting in a warehouse, impressions would already be completely different."
